Is moderation actually a sign of wisdom? in Spirituality ·
I’m right there with what Gaudrath said.
Just thought it was worth noting.😁

I don't get why people equate a lack of passion with being "dead inside." If you aren't feeling that constant burn—and it's not like you're struggling, either—it actually just means you've finally mastered your life.
At that point,
passion isn't missing; it's just unnecessary. You've reached a state of pure joy and creativity—where the imagination actually takes over—so what's the point of "passion"? Passion for what?

Whether you have passion or not is really just a byproduct of how you live and your level of consciousness.

Instead of forcing yourself to be something you simply aren't, you should focus on changing the underlying cause—the thing that creates that intense passion in the first place.

The world where three religious "titans" and eleven religious "iguanas" all fight for their own version of "TRUTH" and their own little flock.

Buddhists, Christians, Muslims, and Jews.
The entire planet is being managed and leveled by this religious schizophrenia.
And all four of these EMPTY HOLLOWS feed, nurture, and refuse to cure this SCHIZOPHRENIA.
One after the other, it’s just a cycle.

Master John diagnoses this HELL quite clearly, Karen Sanchez19:

Abraham, Buddha, Jesus, and Muhammad—they all tell us that MAN isn't good enough to please such a God.

Like four orangutans from Sumatra who suddenly stumble upon SELF-AWARENESS tomorrow and start blathering on about some lost KINGDOM OF GOD.

Watch the pattern, Karen Sanchez19.
The formula for the Master's HELL.

The HELLISH FORMULA claims that Salvation, Nirvana, Paradise, Enlightenment... you HAVE TO earn it through blood.
First, because you aren't WORTHY of God.
Second, because you actually have to EARN God.

Do you see WHO and WHAT is separating us from our God, Karen Sanchez19?
Do you understand WHO and WHAT those vampires are—the ones sucking our blood and draining our human energy?

We haven't even opened our eyes to the world yet, and they're already teaching us how to spit on ourselves.
On God's own purest CREATION.
Before we can even get a decent foothold, they're shoving us into molds of "spiritual" belonging, schools, or denominations.
Hardly able to form words, and they're already trying to fit us into their little books.

Can you feel that Master's "HELL," Karen Sanchez19?
That hellish MATHEMATICS that turns you against YOURSELF and everyone else?
You have to suppress YOURSELF based on the literal words of their LIES.

How much energy is thrown into the WIND of jealousy?
How many teeth are gnashed during our most beautiful moments?
How much EVIL is inside US, which we then force upon ourselves?

And we struggle like this, gnawing at each other through life, just to suck up to the HOLY SERVERS
who pin us to the GROUND like lizards instead of humans.

Abraham the Troglodyte, Buddha the LUNATIC, Jesus the Narcissist, Muhammad the Spokesperson—they are all architects of this HELLISH BULLSHIT regarding our miserable and pathetic existence.
Not a single COSMOLOGOS truly WOKE them up, Karen Sanchez19 and Parsifal.

Only the "AWAKENING" of absolute consciousness will make you a LOVER of the universe.
If you love EVERYTHING THAT IS, it's because you finally understood the true nature of this and that world.

From what depths of mind and reason, and from what shackles of a black heart, could you ever call anyone UNWORTHY of God?
From what formulas would you then shape and support ONLY YOUR OWN tribe?
How could you call God's naked child and humanity dirty and impure?

That is how HELL was created, Karen Sanchez19.
In our heads first.
By pouring the words of a few MASSIVE FOOLS into our small ears.😎 😁

So they all taught us that we are unworthy?
Is that why we experience pain and suffering?

I've learned there's no point arguing with you, because you always take words out of context and twist them—you never give a straight answer, just more rambling about something else entirely.

But I have to show up and write, because the stupidity gets under my skin.

Take, for example, a small child who hasn't been taught anything yet and "doesn't know" the difference between good and evil.
Why does something bad happen to that little kid? How can that be, if they haven't been fed the idea that good and evil exist, so they couldn't have "attracted" a bad event through that theory?
And yet, in a perfectly just universe, it happens to them.

Why does anyone experience pain and suffering? Even those who claim they don't believe in any laws (atheists). Who taught them they were unworthy, causing something bad to be imposed on them? Because according to what you say, they should always be happy.
They aren't to blame for anything. I mean—how can someone who hasn't turned their back on God—basically, someone who hasn't warped their own reality by breaking the laws and falling into an illusion—be anything other than joyful, wise, and creative? (And that’s just scratching the surface of God's attributes, let's be real).

So, are we actually like that?
Or are you still insisting we aren't just because someone told us so—even though, deep down, we would be?

Nobody is telling us we aren't worthy; they're just laying out simple facts—the fact that there is a path back home, back to a real life.
And that path means living according to the laws that govern the entire universe and life itself.
We’ve wandered off, and those of us living "normally" would honestly love to find our way back. That's all it is.

The truth is, we haven't actually gone anywhere; our consciousness is just narrowed. We can't see who and what we truly are, so instead, we see this... version of life that involves nothing but suffering.

Ever since I was a tiny kid—for as long as I can remember—I've often heard this quiet inner voice guiding me. It would tell me what to do, what was right, why things were the way they were, stuff like that. And back then (and honestly, even later, though I can't prove it), nobody was brainwashing me about "good" versus "evil."

Besides, why did you claim that spirituality is a deadly game (which, yeah, I agree with) if you're simultaneously arguing that everything is irrelevant—that we can do whatever we want and still end up at the destination (ourselves)?

I'll add this: to me, all religions are good because they all say the same thing.
I think that's true for anyone who actually understands religion.
That pretty much kills your whole argument about fighting for your flock of sheep.😛

Consequences exist specifically to show you that what you did wasn't some stroke of genius.
The whole point of a consequence is to steer someone toward making a better choice next time.
That’s it.

It’s the same way it works for us.
Some people actually pay attention to the fallout and learn—others don't.
And we won't worry about final death yet, since even eternal life hasn't been proven... 😁

He didn't take anything away.
Bad actions will still have bad consequences, and people will suffer for them.

Sure, they exist for that reason, but they can enslave a person—which would be the case if Jesus' sacrifice didn't exist.
Can an unhappy person actually act with goodness?
Or will they accept love and use it to wipe out their misery, or just keep acting out?

Because you can't be good to others while being rotten to yourself.
Besides, when you're being hard on yourself, you're doing damage too—that's basically the definition of an unhappy person.

People suffer from their own actions when they refuse to admit they messed up—so instead of feeding those patterns (or those addictions), they need to grab onto the love constantly being offered to them. That gives them the strength and joy needed to change course and undo the damage.

Not everyone suffers, though; some people have freed themselves so much, and are so connected with God, that they know love is always within reach regardless of what happens. Nothing can touch them.
Joy is their reality.

Jack Harris3 said:We’ve been this way since the moment we were created.
Aside from the fact that people get too full of themselves—spitting in the face of the very God they claim to worship by acting like their "permission" is some prerequisite for God to act—you keep insisting our essence *is* God.
If that's the case now, it was true from the start.
And there's still zero explanation for the sacrifice.
The same essence (God) has always existed, the same possibilities, the same laws, the same sins and consequences...
So what exactly did Jesus change with His death?

We could only be this way because of Jesus' sacrifice.
I've already said—it doesn't work in a straight line; it works for all time.

Besides, if God isn't the essence of everything that exists, nothing would be alive—because God *is* life.

And yeah, permission matters. You can't have anyone give you love if you don't believe or even realize you're allowed to receive it.
You've probably heard about those cases where certain people—like those spiritual healers or energy workers—can channel love easily but still can't heal everyone, even though they can help most.
Or look at the instance where Jesus was baffled by the sheer lack of faith in one specific area, because He couldn't perform a single healing miracle there.
Belonging, Appearance, Sacrifice? in Spirituality ·
Not much else to say here...

Events shape our past just as much as they dictate our future.

What Jesus accomplished stands true for all eternity.

Besides, time is nothing more than an illusion we live by.

Think about it—the law of action and reaction is absolute and unchangeable (it works that way for every law).
So, every sin we commit triggers a bad consequence, and because of that consequence
it becomes nearly impossible to choose good—it's just one endless loop.
And what would happen to us then? We wouldn't exist, because that cycle leads straight to ultimate death.

But if someone—just like Jesus did—takes that burden from us through their suffering, then we can finally break free from that cursed circle.
Emphasis on *can*.

That’s why we all have the chance to let our essence (God) evolve our consciousness and understanding, making the choice for good feel easier—and more natural.

Jack Harris3 said:So Jesus fixed it? Great—then why aren't we back in paradise yet? 😁

It’s our call, really—if we actually want paradise, we can have it.
Jesus showed us how to live (following that universal law) if we want true Life, and He gave us the chance to tap into love—that vital energy—at any moment to wipe away every sin and make everything new and right again.
Jack Harris3 said:Which sins? Be specific, if you can.
The first sin can't be "wiped out," because if it were, things would just be back to how they were before it happened—just like any other cancellation.
So, which ones are we talking about?

Read what I wrote above. It's the first, the second, and every single other sin—as long as we let them happen. And then, yeah, the state is exactly like the beginning, plus the awareness of what exists outside of God.

Jack Harris3 said:What law? The one where you pay for what you screw up?
Jesus didn't abolish that. That law still stands.
So why even bother with a sacrifice?

Yes, that law still holds. But like I said, if you let love into yourself, it repairs the damage caused by its absence—damage that led to sin in the first place. Now, it might seem like we can't let that love in, but we can, because our essence (God) essentially "pushes" us to move forward, grow, and become aware.
If that weren't the case, everything would just spiral downward toward total death.
From where I'm sitting, we're all becoming more conscious.
So the sacrifice is in providing the opportunity to fix things—to nullify the damage (in ourselves and by extension, around us) caused by sin. You could see that sacrifice as proof of how we can break free from the fear that usually stops us from living by the law.
Whoever is willing to lose themselves will find themselves.
Jack Harris3 said:How was it State A before His death, and State B after?
And if State A was already the case, what exactly did He sacrifice himself for, and for whom?

Why is it that nobody can give a straight answer to this? 😁

I explained that above.
Jack Harris3 said:I don't care about "think about it" or "you don't get it" or whatever... I'm asking for specifics, so if you can, give me a specific answer.
There is nothing I can't explain if I lay out the claim. I can do it a million different ways if I have to, but you'll eventually get what I mean if your IQ is higher than your shoe size.

I've got enough intelligence—my IQ blows my entire meager existence out of the water—so start explaining.
So far, you haven't. 😁

There, I finally gave you a straight answer.😉

Jack Harris3 said:Just memorized stuff. 😛

So, which specific bad deeds did Jesus actually cancel out?
And what did his death really achieve that couldn't have happened if he hadn't shown up at all? Looking down from above—from a divine perspective, if you will—I’ll pray about it.

Sure, if Jesus had to exist just to have followers spreading his ideas, that's a given. But that's not how the Church explains it—they claim the sacrifice was necessary to God.
Then explain this: what exactly is it that God can't handle unless one man dies first, and how does that even work? 😁

I don't think I ever said I didn't understand—is that written somewhere? If it is, then what I'm struggling with isn't the basics, it's the logic of certain people, or specific doctrines, or YOUR claim up there.
God and I understand each other without words, thanks for asking. And even if we didn't, let us two figure it out ourselves. You should never try to wedge yourself between two people like a third wheel... 😁

No, it's not just memorized. Honestly, your literal, narrow-minded take on this makes it look like *you're* the one who just swallowed everything you were told without thinking for yourself.

Our own failures. Why would we even be here—would we even know what suffering and pain are—if we hadn't strayed from the law, from God?

I already told you what his death brought: balance, the wiping away of sin.
It wasn't a sacrifice God needed, but rather we and the law we broke need it—though that law still stands, it's relentless and unchanging. That debt has to be paid, one way or another.
Can you wrap your head around that? Try approaching it from a different angle than whatever they drilled into you.
Forget the Church's explanations for a second; they're technically right, but they're so oversimplified that they end up sounding fake or just plain wrong.
Use your brain and find your own answers—you don't have to listen to a word I say.

"What exactly is it that God can't handle without..."?
😁 Man, you actually made me laugh. 😉
I'm telling you, your whole understanding of God and everything else is just fundamentally flawed.

Glad you two get along so well—it would be a lot better if you actually knew who you were talking to. 😁

Jack Harris3 said:In one version of the story, Jesus didn't actually sacrifice anything—nor did he gain anything.
If we’re going strictly by the Bible, it clearly states he was sent to preach, live his life, and die the way he died, right? So it looks like God just sacrificed him to Himself—which is a total joke because if there's only one God, he doesn't need some grand theatrical performance just to justify things. And then there's this whole idea that Jesus supposedly died for human sins. Like, for them to be forgiven or for the resurrection to even work, blah blah blah...
As if God couldn't have figured it out without sending His own son to die. Seriously.

No, God didn't just sacrifice him to Himself. Based on fundamental laws—the kind God built into the very fabric of existence since He is in everything—there's action and reaction. Every bad deed carries a consequence. That’s why Jesus, being perfectly pure, could nullify our mistakes through his sacrifice. It's how we break those endless cycles and move forward.
Anyone can sacrifice themselves for others—some people actually do it, literally taking on the suffering meant for someone else.

Change how you see God and things will start making a lot more sense to you.

that little microbe or whatever could have just drifted in on a speck of dust and landed right on those eggs--and if they sat there long enough, you've got yourself a full-blown colony right on the food.

What you’ve got there is just a classic case of "dirty hands syndrome"—and honestly, it's pathetic.
Look, regarding those eggs—you probably picked up some bacteria or an amoeba too. It’s everywhere in the air and environment, but honestly, with this heat, they probably just multiplied like crazy on the food itself. Once that hits your stomach or gut, it irritates everything until your body just forces it out.
It’ll pass on its own in a few days—just stick to light, easy-on-the-stomach stuff like rice. Maybe some mild tea without all that extra sugar—use honey instead—and some plain toast.

Could be—but I wash my hands constantly, honestly. I don't even touch my face unless they’re freshly scrubbed—period.

I can eat normally now—not that I usually go overboard with heavy junk food anyway—so I don't really see the difference.😁

Back when that was happening, I couldn't even look at food—let alone eat it. I could barely get any water down, too—and man, the fever was so intense I felt like I was actually going to pass out from dehydration.
And all that water I drank? Yeah, I ended up throwing it right back up—and it was hot.

Heh, how am I supposed to go into all that detail?
Look, I’m posting this just so anyone else going through the same thing knows it'll pass—I stayed completely calm, and honestly, I was already feeling better by the next day.

Mark Lee65, thanks for the advice.🙂

I remember one year I was absolutely losing it—total disaster—and the ER staff basically gave me attitude because I wasn't showing up fast enough while I was busy puking and running to the bathroom. Like, sorry if my gastrointestinal crisis is inconvenient for you!
:2up:
Maybe grab some activated charcoal from CVS to soak up those bacteria and flush everything out.

Wait, so I can't just tell them my symptoms and have them know exactly what illness it is?

Activated charcoal... great advice. 👍
thanks

I'm feeling fine now—just waiting for this fever to break and then it'll be like it never even happened.🙂

It's crazy how quickly you forget—one minute I genuinely thought I was dying😁 and that I'd never eat eggs again (I was convinced they were the culprit)

You should probably check in with a doctor.👋

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. But for salmonella—I actually saw a segment about it on CNN today—the incubation period is longer (like 12 hours, and I didn't eat anything sketchy during that window) and there's another detail I can't quite remember.
Still, I've got a fever.😁

Well, maybe it's just a fast-acting strain.😁

I really don't feel like hitting up the clinic, especially since the worst part is already over (back then I was actually ready to call 911)
but I'm dying to know what this actually is.

Anyway, Amanda Booth64, thanks for the tip.🙂

So, a few days ago—right after I polished off two eggs, though maybe that’s irrelevant—I ended up puking four times (twice it was just water, which is wild if you think about it😁). My stomach was killing me, I had a fever, my limbs were aching like crazy, and then there was the diarrhea.
Honestly? It felt way worse than the flu.

Anyway, I somehow managed to crawl through Friday, but it's Sunday now and I'm still running a fever and feeling pretty wiped out. Everything else seems fine, I guess.

I tried Googling it, but I can't figure out what kind of intestinal bug this actually is or if I even need to see a doctor at all.

So, if anyone knows, please let me know.

How to perform a proper breast self-exam? in Women's Health ·
