Without doing those two things, there really isn't any chance you'll be able to withdraw your funds; they might even ask for a photo of some kind of ID later on, but these two steps are absolutely essential...
Someone was asking about Dimes... it looks a bit strange at first, so I guess you might need some time to get used to the interface, but the limits on US sports are massive, which is fine, and they're decent for other stuff too. You can't combine everything into multi bet options, but you certainly have more flexibility than you would with Pinny, for example...
It is actually possible to do it without a passport, though you would have to email them a photo of your state ID; since I didn't happen to have a valid passport handy when I registered, we managed to work something out via email regarding my ID... and, of course, you still need the address verification...
We were actually the ones who requested the change in the first place, and we were told to reach out to Tyndall, yet our nickname still hasn't been updated at all, so I guess we should probably check back in with rustydrifter10?
I was wondering if it might be possible to change my username to just loneharbor34?
Thanks so much in advance for any help you can give me 🙂
Well, it turns out it actually is possible... And I have to agree with Alex Cook here, I think loneharbor34 would probably suit you much better. You should probably just reach out to Tyndall to get that changed.

I wonder if GONG is keeping a close eye on everything to make sure the whole process stays legitimate?
Just to ensure we aren't seeing votes from deceased citizens or any instances of double voting.

I imagine S'sung will be pretty thrilled about this 😁
EDIT: Actually, looking at the updates, I see they already are.

The Private community definitely has its own unique way of communicating, so I suppose one should just try to understand it.🙂
The ATP/WTA circuit seems to have a somewhat different energy and moderation style, and I honestly feel that if we ever get a dedicated tennis subforum, it should probably follow that same lead—allowing discussions to breathe and expand naturally, provided, of course, that people don't cross the line into being outright disrespectful to one another.
Jeffrey Jones2 said:Maybe starting a dedicated subforum would boost the post count, who knows? But honestly, I can see us hitting a peak for the first two or three months before everything settles down into just two or three main threads. We could at least give it a shot—move all these specific topics (like "ATP/WTA," the Grand Slams, and all those endless debates about players being soft versus being hard-hitters) over to that new subforum. If the experiment flops, it’s no big deal; we can just move the threads back to Other Sports and scrap the Tennis section altogether.😁
The bottom line is that we should probably try it; I really feel like there’s some potential there.🤷
And, if it fails, my goodness, we could just send the newbies to the digital wilderness for a month🤣 and move tennis back over to Other Sports...
I find myself agreeing with my colleague here; it would honestly be quite refreshing if every tournament were given its own dedicated thread, because right now, things feel a bit cluttered. On the main ATP/WTA thread, we seem to drift away from discussing current tournaments a trillion times over, and even with the US Open already underway, we’ve somehow ended up with four, five, or six different tennis threads—ranging from discussions about the rising stars of American tennis to Q&A sessions, or perhaps a thread focused on the race for the year-end number one spot. This year, that battle for the top looks like it will be incredibly tight, and I suspect the year-end Masters will be absolutely crucial, which isn't quite how it used to be, and I suppose a thread about the more attractive players would probably get a huge amount of traffic too. 😁
I actually wrote a post about this over on the ATP/WTA thread, suggesting things like organizing matches between forum members, posting gear advertisements, sharing links to classic matches, or debating player rivalries—not to mention those eternal arguments about who the greatest of all time is, though I don't think there's much of a dilemma there, despite what some skeptics might claim 😁. Tennis as a sport certainly has the potential, though I guess the real question is whether people would actually engage, since that's the only metric that truly matters, but I really do believe tennis deserves a chance; it would be easy to revert to the old way of doing things, but I have a feeling this approach could actually work.
I'm just speaking off the top of my head, of course, and I imagine there are plenty of other active members on the ATP/WTA board who aren't here right now but likely have their own ideas as well.
I suppose I’m a Leftist, though when it comes to music, I’m actually pretty much 🙂 on board. I don't have any musical ear at all, and while I used to be a massive reader compared to how I am now—though I still pick up a book here and there—my mother is also a Leftist, and she honestly reads at least 100 books a year, no joke. However, when it comes to spatial awareness, I’m essentially non-existent, whereas if you were to drop me out of a plane in some random US city, I think I could find my way around just fine without even needing to talk to anyone..
As for sports, I feel like I can pick up just about anything, and whenever I play, I can hold my own against people who actually train for it—and, not to brag, because that’s not really my style, but my dad tells me I’m quite good—whereas my mother, for instance, is completely hopeless when it comes to athletics...
Regarding the arts, I feel pretty limited there, as I don't really have much of a sense for it, while my mother spends her time painting, drawing, and crafting all sorts of things, and she actually makes her living from it...
I wouldn't say I'm hyperactive, but it’s not like I turn down opportunities to go out or get things done; I'm definitely not the type of guy who stays holed up at home and ignores his friends when they call to hang out—and I do have those kinds of friends—whereas my mother rarely leaves the house; I honestly think even a major earthquake couldn't shake her loose from her home, and it's not even that she's particularly old, since she's under 50...
When I took an IQ test once, my score came out to 133, so I don't really fall into the group discussed here 😁
The reason I keep bringing up my mother isn't because I'm being overly attached to her, but rather because she is also a Leftist, so you can observe these traits from the perspective of two different Leftists—who, it seems, are fundamentally different in their strengths and weaknesses. She excels where I fail, and vice versa; it almost feels like when I was born, I somehow managed to take away half the talents she used to possess 🤣
