Honestly, guys, it’s been over a month now and JPMorgan Chase hasn't even bothered to respond to our written complaints; I suppose when they have absolutely nothing to say in their own defense, they just choose to stay silent altogether.

There’s some talk going around that hackers managed to pull off a massive heist by using USB drives from companies that were left plugged into their computers the entire time.

Using "American business culture" as an excuse is wild—that attitude basically boils down to thinking someone else should foot the bill for your own screw-ups. Think about it: if you lost your car keys, would a mechanic just hand you a new set for free? Probably not. If you aren't keeping track of your own company's account credentials, then honestly, I'm not sure how anyone could call you a "professional." My bad to everyone on the forum, but that's just my take.

I have my customer ID, the USB key number, and even the initial key, yet somehow I’m unable to unlock the USB key without the password generated during installation; I guess that is somewhat strange. It feels like JPMorgan Chase simply lacks any meaningful procedure for assisting their users.

Besides, they already charge a monthly maintenance fee for the account, but apparently, that isn't enough—you also have to buy a new USB key, which, naturally, comes with its own cost.

By the way, I don't actually agree with your statement; from a customer's perspective, there are plenty of other banks out there with much better CRM than JPMorgan Chase.

And just for the record, it has been over seven days now and still nothing from JPMorgan Chase, though I suppose it's well known that they aren't exactly in any particular hurry. :-(

Honestly, Chase’s business portal is an absolute disaster of a product. If you happen to misplace that specific unlock code you were handed during registration, your USB security key becomes nothing more than a useless piece of plastic. To get a replacement, you basically have to throw $67 out the window. I suppose that's just how business is done in America. To make matters even worse, the whole interface is a nightmare of Java errors, buggy applets, and various other software glitches that seem to haunt the application itself. It’s truly pathetic. We’ll keep using the account until the end of the year, but after that, we are leaving Chase for good.

I mean, do let us know if you actually have to deal with any import duties and what those fees look like once it arrives. I’m genuinely curious, I guess.

I actually just placed an order on Bodybuilding.com for a tub of Optimum Nutrition whey at a ridiculously low price—only about $19—so I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see if it gets held up at the border.

I wonder how much shipping costs to the States?

Well, I actually picked mine up directly from their shop in Washington, D.C., since I happened to be passing through on a trip. Just keep in mind that if you look at the prices online, you’ll need to factor in an extra 8.5% for their local sales tax. Personally, I think it might be worth driving out to pick up the goods at a small town in the Midwest; it seems like a decent way to dodge shipping fees, customs, and sales tax altogether.

I did look into the whole customs situation by giving a freight forwarder a quick call, and he mentioned that you can bring in goods up to $100 without running into any duties. So, theoretically, you shouldn't have anything to declare, and if a customs agent happens to inspect the package, I guess you could just claim they are basic necessities or dietary supplements. I haven't actually had the chance to test out what the forwarder told me, though.

onward and upward, I suppose!! 🙂

It’s true, the city doesn't seem to care about the fields at all; I mean, they can't even manage to swap out a lightbulb in the floodlights. Field 2 actually looked better than 1 and 3, mostly because we rented eight slots and tried to fix things ourselves by watering it down and leveling it a few times. But, well, you get what you pay for, I guess. Unit 7 is charging hourly rates under the dome at Old Saint Louis $60 (including tax) and, predictably, everything has already been snapped up by corporate clients.
