It’s honestly hilarious. That penalty doesn't change a thing. You just roll out in fifth place after the penalty, and you can still easily charge all the way through to the win.

That wasn't even a corner where you're supposed to make a move. 🤣 Everyone here was whining about wanting more aggressive racing, and now they’re acting like this is some kind of punishment. How do you think constant contact ends? With people crashing out, that's how.
This is NASCAR. You can attack anywhere.
That wasn't racing. Yesterday, they were handling similar positions on that turn perfectly fine. Today? Today was just an elbow straight to the ribs.
He kicked him out of the race with some seriously dirty driving. He’s looking at a 5-10 second penalty, which should help him sweep toward the podium and close that gap.
Well played, asshole. It seems like he always finds a way to pull this crap at Indianapolis whenever everyone else is fighting for track position. Total sore loser.
If Max Verstappen had absolutely trashed his car like that, you’d see a bunch of certain people losing their minds, just like they do when Fernando Alonso does it. But because it's him? Suddenly, it's no big deal.

If Russell hadn't taken out Bottas, there's a decent chance Valtteri would have actually had a shot at some dry track performance. And let's not forget the massive stroke of luck Lewis had after spinning out and getting intimate with the barrier—luck that was handed to him on a silver platter by the collision between Russell and Bottas. Honestly, I don't see much reason to go crazy over his driving.
Have you ever seen a single mature discussion or sensible comment on this place? It all boils down to people swinging between extreme worship and total bashing, fueled by nothing but childish fanboy hysterics and hateful bickering.
Honestly, there wasn't even that much debris scattered across the track after the crash—I was watching the replays. It looked like any other wreck, nothing out of the ordinary. Both cars ended up way out in the gravel trap, far from the racing line. In my opinion, they should have just thrown out the safety car; I think calling for a red flag was a bit over the top.

Wait, why? I totally blanked on what actually happened. I remember seeing some text on the screen saying there’d be an investigation after the race, but the reason completely slipped my mind.
They absolutely screwed Gasly over with those tire choices.
How can he be "heavily damaged" when all he lost was a tiny piece of wing? The only way that makes sense is if he took a beating during that ridiculous dogfight earlier.
I wonder how many safety cars we’re going to see today. We definitely need at least one more mess from Mazepin, but I bet someone else is going to cause trouble too.
