Man, it’s wild. You could write an entire book just on how fast and aggressive this thing is spreading. We’re looking at May in just a few days, yet they say this whole mess kicked off back in December. There are 2 million official cases reported—with half of those hitting the USA alone—and they claim nearly a million people have already recovered. Even if you assume the actual number of people who caught it is several times higher than what we see, we're still talking about tens of millions at most. When you consider there are nearly 8 billion people on this planet, the math just doesn't feel right.

If we don't actually know how many people are catching this, then we have no clue how many people have actually gotten over it either. Half of the reported cases are already marked as recoveries. If we apply that same logic to all the people out there who didn't even show symptoms, we're looking at millions upon millions of people who simply brushed this thing off and moved on with their lives.

Heh, if he actually decided to get serious... that's just not gonna happen.

He basically wasted three years of his career trying to leave Paris Saint-Germain, and honestly, it doesn't look like he's moving anytime soon. And even if he does go, where would he go? To FC Barcelona? They’d expect him to step up and take over the mantle from Lionel Messi. No way. Neymar isn't a leader. He's just a clown who spent his time trailing behind Messi. The only real difference between him and most other players is that he’s got enough talent to keep the Brazilian media obsessed with him.

I wouldn't say it's such a massive issue, especially at the very top level. We've seen waves of dominant champions before who still managed to find that extra gear. True football legends are always hungry for more.

Personally, I don't view Neymar Jr. as a true legend of the game. He’s basically just a high-profile clown who rode the coattails of others to grab his trophies. The real question is where Kylian Mbappé is headed—will he follow that same clownish path, or will he actually evolve into an all-time great? There's no denying the talent is there. If it weren't for his raw skill, Neymar Jr. definitely wouldn't have been mentioned in the same breath as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Carol Lewis said:It’s wild how some people live in a completely different reality... what really gets me is that he isn't even pretending anymore, he genuinely believes he’s the one going through the hardest time of all...🙏

And then there's the pure, unadulterated pathetic drama when he started acting like local veterans from a small town like El Paso were coming to his doorstep to carry stuff out of his apartment—as if the entire city personally showed up just for him. 🙏

And it was only about ten of them. 🙏

His heart just broke for the suffering of the whole city. 🙂

I actually see things completely differently. I think seasons are going to get shorter because the physical demands have just skyrocketed. Look at soccer—you’re seeing more and more cases where players are hitting the top flight way before they even hit adulthood, and then by their late twenties, they're already starting to fade. Plus, you can't ignore the lack of motivation; these guys are turning 25 and they've already cleared twice as much money as the legends used to make back in the day.

urbanhawk17 said:Well, listen, even Messi didn't grab a World Cup, Maradona missed an LP, Pele missed a World Cup...

Edit:

Which politician is a fraud anyway?

You can practice soccer anywhere you have body parts that aren't touching the ball—head, chest, legs, knees—but tennis is different because you're basically tossing the ball right in front of your face.

Unbelievable. They jumped in just as he was saying that.🙏

Was anyone even there? Did anyone ask about the support for the administration?

And besides, if we're only talking about soccer at the highest level, I suppose that means second-division players don't count.🙏

Alright, you know what I mean in a broader sense...

Take Fabio Coentrao. This guy was basically a nobody at Real Madrid, just a fringe player who barely showed up ten times a season, yet he walks away with two LP titles. Meanwhile, a true legend like Cristiano Ronaldo never won one, but he’s etched into sports history in gold letters and is a hero to players all over the planet.

Then there's Charles Barkley. He was a total beast, honestly one of the greatest to ever play his position, and he doesn't have a single NBA title to his name. Yet, there are some absolute idiots out there whom nobody even remembers anymore, who have a couple of rings just because they happened to be riding the bench on great teams.

You’re basically standing at the service line, tossing the ball up right in front of your face, and just launching it straight at the guy on the other side. It's incredibly risky 🤣

I honestly feel the most sympathy for those sports legends who were incredible but just couldn't quite snag the big trophies or the ultimate titles.

The first names that jump to mind are Ronaldo without an LP, Felipe Massa losing that Formula 1 championship in the final stretch of the season, and maybe even Charles Barkley finishing his career without an NBA ring.

Edit:

What a total joke.

You can practice soccer anywhere—it doesn't matter if you're using your head, chest, legs, or knees to touch the ball—but tennis is a different beast because you’re literally tossing the ball right in front of your face.

Jessica Gonzalez said:Just because someone is the greatest tennis player ever doesn't mean they aren't personally a complete idiot. I think we really need to separate those two things; I actually wrote about something similar regarding Kobe Bryant recently. As superstars, they’re almost like these virtual characters when they're on the court, but off the court, they're just regular people with flaws and virtues, just like anyone else. I guess the issue lies with the media and how we consume sports—there's this expectation that if you achieve massive success in athletics, you have to be a role model in every other aspect of life too. That doesn't seem realistic to me, mostly because many professional athletes are either people who struggled with academics or simply didn't have the time to focus on school because they were so dedicated to their sport.

Djokovic isn't even in the same league as Federer.

The issue with Djokovic is his lifestyle. Ever since he started dating that woman, he’s turned into this total health nut—all about the vegan stuff and broccoli. It's ridiculous. Even his own people back home mock him constantly. He's totally lost his edge.

Honestly, we should just shut this whole crew down and stop wasting money on them.

https://www.nytimes.com/news/world/us/health/vaccine-immunity-updates/10248418/

After some countries started looking into "immunity passports" for people who already recovered from COVID-19, the World Health Organization issued a warning stating there is "currently no evidence that people who have recovered from COVID-19 possess antibodies that protect them from reinfection."

In plain English, the WHO basically said you could catch COVID-19 two, three, or even more times because there's zero proof that immunity actually develops.

It wouldn't be surprising if the WHO later deleted their own tweet and replaced it yesterday with a new one claiming: "Earlier today we tweeted regarding the WHO briefing on 'immunity passports.' Given the concerns raised by our warning, we want to clarify: We expect most people infected with COVID-19 will develop antibodies that provide an adequate level of protection."

Despot 🤦

The wreckage of a life.

Veterans from the Battle of Fallujah actually helped him move his things out of his apartment.

A broken heart.

The city offered him a spot in a local dorm, but he turned it down. He’s got good people in his corner. A close friend actually handed him the keys to his own place just so he'd have somewhere to stay until he gets back on his feet. 🤦

I watched that clip from earlier, and I guess it’s worth some thought, though I’m not entirely sure what to make of it yet. It feels like one of those things where you look at the surface level and think you understand the situation, but once you start digging into the specifics, everything gets a bit more complicated—maybe even a little messy. There’s a certain rhythm to how these things play out, isn't there? It reminds me a bit of watching a slow-burn legal drama on HBO, where everyone is acting like they have all the answers, but you can tell they're just waiting for someone else to trip up first. I suppose we could argue about the technicalities, but honestly, most of that feels like noise. I don't know. Maybe I'm overthinking it. Or maybe I'm underthinking it. It’s hard to say without seeing how the rest of the pieces fall into place. I'll probably sit on this for a while before forming a definitive opinion, because rushing to judgment seems like a losing game most of the time. Anyway, just some thoughts.

Haha.

I was just watching this last night.🤣

This channel is a total game changer. Huge thanks to whoever first shared it here. I am seriously shouting at my screen during every single video.🤣

Both he and Biden can team up for all I care. You've got the President out there promising that America will have the strongest economy in the world once we finally move past this whole pandemic mess.🤣
