Nothing is settled yet. We’ve got seven races left, which is basically a third of the season. Lewis Hamilton is bound to have a rough outing soon, maybe even at the next one. He needs to get lucky, grab the opportunity, and stop handing out freebies to everyone else.
Looking at the stats for Singapore, things might look a little kind to Sebastian Vettel, even though Mercedes-Benz has absolutely owned that track for the last two seasons. It’s going to be intense.

They thought they were good enough to just focus on having Kimi snag points away from Hamilton... but like I said before, as long as they keep acting like Vettel is this top-tier driver, they're basically handing an advantage to Hamilton and Mercedes.
It’s not on Ferrari; it’s just terrible driving from Vettel. During qualifying yesterday, he was constantly sliding off into the gravel and taking wide lines, which cost him precious time in every single Q session. Blaming the slipstream is nothing more than pure damage control.
Then in the race, he made a total rookie mistake and paid the price. If he had actually been smart—since he's clearly so confident in the car's pace—he could have let Hamilton pass and then hunted him down on the very next opportunity. After that, if necessary, he could've just let Kimi through during the pit stops.
He basically tripped over his own feet here. It’s his own fault, plain and simple. He can't blame the crew or his teammate for this one.
Kimi absolutely wrecked him during qualifying yesterday—he had that tow, then today he botched the start and completely ruined his race. Zlocko and that loser Kimi are just a mess.
Roger Wright94 said:Vettel? I'll have to check the replays later, but honestly, I think Kimi is the one to blame here. His start was just sloppy. Vettel actually had the pace to pass him, but he ran out of time. Then Kimi just gets in his way again, and that's how you end up with an incident.
Exactly, that’s it 🙏. It's always someone else's fault, never the guy at the top.
This weekend was a total disaster for Vettel. He had a miserable qualifying session, a garbage start to the race, and then he basically handed it away with an amateur mistake while battling Hamilton. Honestly, the only reason he even managed to snag fourth place was because Max completely fell apart.
I am seriously so happy about this 👋. I feel a little bad for Kimi because he just didn't manage those tires quite right, but honestly, Vettel 👋 👋 and he had to deal with all those Ferrari fans breathing down his neck 😍.
I haven't seen anyone on this thread over the last few weeks actually claim that Bottas isn't the number two driver. Personally, I’ve always maintained that being the second driver wasn't a big deal for him, but looking at things today, I guess I have to eat my words.
Bottas is just terrible, what a guy 🤦. He's basically just muscle for Hamilton 🤦
Looks like Sebastian Vettel is stuck crawling through traffic, haha. What a wild race! Out of all the hundred different scenarios I played out in my head, the idea of Vettel crashing out wasn't even one of them, and honestly, I'm stoked about it.
I’ve got Arsenal playing on one screen and F1 on the other, right? Just as the race was getting underway, Arsenal conceded a goal, and I honestly thought Kimi had spun out or something! Turns out it was just some absolute rookie mistake instead hahahaha. Absolutely brilliant 😍
