I honestly couldn't wait until tomorrow to find out, so I went ahead and took the test today. I'll post the actual results over in that other thread.😉😍

It’s only day two of my period, and it feels like this week is dragging on forever...☕
I keep staring at that little pregnancy test I picked up. Honestly, if I weren't so tight on cash right now, I’d head straight to the bathroom and just run through the whole line of tests. It would be a relief to just get the disappointment over with—at least then I wouldn't be losing sleep, waking up at 3:00 AM wondering "what if" instead of dealing with the reality of it.
It’s driving me crazy 😲

I’m on day 27, though my cycle usually drifts anywhere from 28 to 32 days. I know exactly how you feel. I haven't even bought a test yet because I know once it’s sitting on my counter, the patience will vanish and I'll end up taking it immediately. Every single day, I seem to manifest one more symptom, though I suspect it’s mostly just a placebo effect playing tricks on me. I try to distract myself with other things, but of course, my mind always wanders right back to it. We'll get through this stretch soon enough.🙄

analogskipper12, I’m so sorry. Everything will happen when the timing is right.

I am counting down the days until that next update—whatever it may be—just so I can finally breathe easy again.
Hang in there, Helly, I know exactly where you're coming from. If things start looking up, we might end up doing 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 and so on, until I hit my character limit.
Keep me posted on how everything develops.

p.s.: The limit is 10 emojis 🤣 [they warned me.]

Yeah, waiting is an absolute grind. Honestly, the best move would be to just stop thinking about it entirely, but that's easier said than done. 🙄 Let's try to make it through one more week before we run the test.👍
Thanks so much! I'll touch base again in about ten days or so. Hopefully, by then, I'll be feeling a bit more like myself.😍
Thanks! That’s what I was thinking, too, but I have to admit I’m incredibly impatient and just wanted to know as soon as possible.😉
How long does it actually take from fertilization until a pregnancy test shows a positive result? My fertile window lined up exactly with hers, so I’m wondering how much longer I have to sit here and wait before I can finally take a test. Honestly, I keep obsessing over every little symptom, just trying to convince myself that it’s happening.

George Bennett9 said:To be perfectly honest, I haven't the slightest clue where I stumbled upon it. I just typed "wedding cake" into Google and—presto!—there it was!

What a shame. It looks like we can't find anything like that here in the States. I might try showing a photo to a local bakery and see if they'll attempt a custom build for me.

Oh man, this little hedgehog thing is absolutely precious!!! Where on earth did you find it? I’d love to get one for my partner's birthday! Their absolute favorite childhood book was "Ježurka ježić".

This was our cake from "smile," and honestly, it was fantastic! I don't even need to get into how incredible their pastries were.

As for Vince, I actually prefer his spot over on Masaryk than the one on Ilica Street.😉

feraltrucker22, to answer your question: YES, absolutely!
Noah Thomas31, I’m right there with you. Those cookies are incredible, and honestly, that cake we had was on another level. Plus, the prices aren't even breaking the bank.😍
I should also mention how organized everything is there; the staff is genuinely decent, too. You can tell they’re running their own show, so they actually care about getting every little detail right. I’d definitely recommend them!

$22, honestly, that cake for 120 people was $400.👍

I suppose I should keep the praise coming while it’s still fresh in my mind. The desserts and the cake were absolutely flawless, and we have Ms. Milka Mavrović from Forest Hills to thank for that—her bakery, "Smile," really hit it out of the park. If anyone is interested, just shoot me a private message for her number; her prices are actually reasonable, which is a rarity these days. When our guests were heading out, we handed them little boxes of treats, and honestly, half of them were begging us to pack up extra portions because they were just that good.😍

Dana Wright4 said:Ladies, has anyone around here picked up any of those cookies from Bond in Columbus lately?

I’m planning on heading down there next week to hammer out an agreement, so I’m looking for some fresh, firsthand accounts from anyone who's dealt with them lately.
I’m going to need about 150 pounds of cake just to make sure I don't overdo it...

😘

My partner tried their desserts at a wedding expo recently and honestly, they were incredible. He practically polished off everything his wife offered him. I was actually a little embarrassed watching him go to town like that. 😁 🤣 Besides, you can find their stuff at Kroger or Walmart, so maybe just grab some and see what you think.👍

silvermoose13 said:Ladies, we ordered our cake from Mary (that boutique cake shop over in Brooklyn) and let me tell you—it was absolutely spectacular! To be completely honest, the cake had slipped our minds entirely; we didn't even realize we needed to order one until just 14 days before the big day. By that point, most of the local bakers were already fully booked, though I think Vincent might have had an opening. Anyway, I stumbled upon this bakery online by pure chance. I’ll admit, I was a little nervous at first because we wanted a sleek, minimalist, all-white cake, and everything on their website looked a bit too busy for our taste. But our cake turned out stunning—five tiers (no stands needed!), perfectly white on the outside with nothing but tiny little dollops of frosting decorating the layers. Inside, it featured five different types of parfait... everyone raved about it. For a crowd of 350 people, it only cost us $933!! I highly recommend them to anyone 🙏

Correction to a previous statement!!!! That boutique shop isn't in Brooklyn, it's actually near Central Park, just so nobody gets lost (I live in Brooklyn myself).
Brian Garcia I'm facing a similar dilemma, though my choice is between M&M's or that bakery out in Yellowstone. I think I'm leaning toward the first option since they're a bit more budget-friendly, and they mentioned they're pretty flexible with arrangements.👍

fadedfalcon8 Your cakes are absolutely incredible! I’m particularly obsessed with that one with the berries—I’ve been losing my mind over them lately.

It’s from that little local bakery here in town—the owner mentioned it was made for a crowd of about 250 to 280 people (though, honestly, I probably need something a bit smaller) and they priced it at around $1,500 to $0.53. Personally, I think that’s a steal. The cake looks incredible, too. My only gripe is that instead of looking for flaws, I’d much rather be looking for calories or pastries. It’s a minor thing, I guess. The bigger issue, though, is that my husband would want a cake on a formal pedestal, not something styled like this. He usually only speaks up when he’s about to veto something I actually want, UNKNOWN 🙂 🙂

Look, just try to subtly nudge him toward your vision. Highlight all the perks of this cake and point out the flaws in his preferred style until he eventually caves to yours. At the end of the day, we’re basically handling almost every single decision and choice ourselves anyway.👍

Has anyone else ever come across that bakery called "Smile" over in Aspen? I’ve heard nothing but good things—I actually tried some of their pastries once and they were genuinely delicious. I remember stumbling upon their website a while back, but for some reason, I can't seem to track them down online anymore. If anyone happens to have the link handy, would you mind sending me a quick DM? Thanks!
