Just trying to see what most people tend to gravitate toward—even though, obviously, I can't get a truly representative sample of everyone's taste here on this forum. Basically, I’m thinking of something light, something where I won't be making a massive mistake. And yeah, I totally get that we’re all different and everyone has their own specific thing, but still, I just wanted to get a sense of how you guys live your lives...

That’s not true. I tried two varieties at my local bakery that really hit the spot. My husband tried them too, and we finally made a decision. You don't need a hundred options when a couple of good ones will 👍
I went with Ferrero Rocher. Delicious...

Sam Kim12 said:It’s going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of twenty pounds—though, let's be honest, that’s a massive oversimplification. Everything hinges entirely on whether we're talking about dry pastries or something heavy and cream-filled. Those two things aren't even in the same universe when it comes to weight.😉

I was thinking a fifty-fifty split, just letting everyone pick what they actually like.🙂

Experienced ladies, how many pounds of dessert should I pick up for 40 guests at an afternoon reception?

Vibrators ready for Thursday... 😘
neoncobra43 said:It is still far too early to speculate on what's actually happening under the surface when we're only at thirteen weeks, but then again, life has a way of surprising you.

Actually, it's not. It all depends on the position. My doctor told me the exact same thing when I was 13 weeks—she thought she saw something but wasn't 100% sure yet.

To be perfectly honest, I’ve never really spent much time dwelling on the idea of raising a son, nor have I ever bothered to sit down and brainstorm what kind of name I might give him. At the end of the day, all those preferences feel rather trivial when you consider the only thing that truly matters: that the baby arrives healthy, happy, and sound.

Exactly. As long as they are healthy. But then again...
I lean toward a girl, but then I start thinking how great a son would be. It’s a constant loop. 😍

😉 👍

Seriously... ever since you joined this thread, all you do is nag me about how much you're craving watermelon... and today is especially bad.😂 😂

You know, every single day when I log on, I think... man, I'd kill for a cold slice right now. 😁

I might just order one via FedEx so we can grab a drink somewhere together. 😁
neoncobra43 said:When is it actually possible to find out the gender?

At my 13-week checkup, my doctor thought she knew, but she wouldn't put anything in writing yet. I'm waiting until it's official.🙂
neoncobra43 said:People love to claim that girls have boys, and honestly, I’m betting on a boy too, even though my intuition hasn't given me a single hint so far.

I don't buy into that old wives' tale, but fine... I'll let you know once we find out if it's a boy or a girl.😍
neoncobra43 said:Oh, it absolutely is. I haven't dealt with a breakout quite this aggressive in my entire life until right now.

It's true. For the first two months, my skin was a total disaster. I actually started wondering if everyone was lying about how glowing pregnant women are supposed to look. 🙄
Then everything just cleared up out of nowhere, and now I feel great.😍
