Because of its size—roughly 16 by 13 millimeters—my doctor suggested an ablation to clear things up. Has anyone here gone through this procedure before? I’m curious about how long the hospital stay typically lasts, what the pain level is like, and whether they usually use local or general anesthesia. Any insight would be much appreciated.🙂
I read about what you’re going through. I had a uterine polyp removed about twenty days ago via hysteroscopy—it was a relatively minor outpatient procedure, nothing too intense. They basically use a small camera through the cervix, so there isn't much downtime. I also happened to have some cysts to deal with at the same time, which meant I ended up staying at the hospital for about a week to get everything sorted out.

just grab a test kit, get $13 over it, and stop stressing yourself out
I don't know, he's just such an arrogant guy normally—always lecturing me and stuff—so when he told me, "Come see me in a week, I'm too busy right now," it felt pretty dismissive

Well, that’s the thing—I won't actually know for another week and a half or so. But yesterday, a friend of mine who already has a kid was asking how I was feeling. Honestly? I told her that for the last few days, I've felt totally wired—like I'm just floating through life or something. It's such a weird sensation; I've never felt anything like it before. I've been reading up on it, and people say you just *know* immediately, that you can feel it right away. I still remember the exact moment I first suspected it—I just grabbed my partner's hand, looked him in the eyes, and... I don't even know how to put it into words. I just started crying happy tears. It was hands down the strangest, most genuine moment of my life... though, maybe I'm just overthinking things. We don't use any kind of birth control, and the last time I had my period, things ended pretty decisively...
Since I'm still pretty new here... I know this question has probably been asked a billion times already, but I really can't be bothered to dig through the archives right now...
So, here’s the deal—I think I might be pregnant. I've got those morning sickness vibes, cramping, and that lower abdominal ache you get right before your period starts. Plus, my breasts are super sensitive, my back is absolutely killing me, and I've suddenly developed these crazy cravings for sour foods when I never used to. My idiot husband wouldn't even take me to see the doctor because he was like, "it's too early to tell, but maybe?" 🙄 Then, being his usual charming self, he just tossed out, "well, that's what happens when you aren't careful..."
Anyway, if anyone with a bit more experience could weigh in, I'd really appreciate it. What do you guys think? Thanks!
