Immune system drops while breastfeeding? in Women's Health ·
Honestly, someone gave me the exact same advice—they told me that once I finally stopped breastfeeding, I should keep up with the Prevenient for just one more month... 😉
It actually made a huge difference for me...
Jeremy Nelson3 said:Well—I’m already four days late now—so, if my math is even remotely correct, I suppose a positive result on the test should be showing up by now. Or maybe it won't? I guess it's just one of those things where you wait and wonder, though logically, the timing seems right.
I am absolutely livid with my doctor at Mayo Clinic—just completely fuming. I had my swabs done last year and everything seemed fine, except for that strep infection I had, which I eventually cleared up. But here’s the thing—she didn't even bother to order a follow-up swab after the treatment was finished. Now, suddenly, she’s refusing to perform any more tests until my husband shows up for the appointment. It feels incredibly dismissive, I guess. Maybe there's some bureaucratic reason for it, but honestly, it just feels like an unnecessary hurdle when I'm trying to stay on top of my health.
I suppose—if I’m being honest with myself—it looks like I’ll be looking for a new gynecologist first. Maybe it's for the best, though I can't say for certain yet.😁

Not necessarily..
Personally, my cycle is super predictable and always hits right on time.. so I actually waited ten full days before I even bothered taking a test..
Just take it easy, everything is still totally possible..😍

And honestly, forget about Dr. Miller.. just go find someone else..
Since when does she get to call the shots if you're asking for swabs and she refuses to do them? That makes zero sense..😠
Jeremy Nelson3.. 😘
did you ever end up swinging by Gin's..?
TMZ.. huge congrats... seriously, from the bottom of my heart..🎉 🎉 🙂
Laura Scott17 said:My girlfriend had her period on the 23rd the month before last, and then on the 18th last month. Does anyone know when she should expect it this month? I'm worried about pregnancy since we didn't use protection, even though I didn't finish inside. Help!

Man, there are just so many "what ifs" hanging in the air here...

1. We have to assume your girlfriend has a regular cycle (because if her periods are all over the place, there is absolutely no way to predict when the next one hits)
2. We have to assume she has a standard cycle length (like, roughly 28 days, give or take a few)
3. We have to assume you guys weren't having unprotected sex within that 10-day window after her last period ended
(Look, even if you didn't finish inside her, it doesn't mean she's definitely pregnant, but you still shouldn't have skipped protection because it's still a risk)
4. We have to assume she hasn't dealt with any ovarian issues, infections, or other health hiccups lately

So, let's say her period is due any day now...
If it doesn't show up by the end of this week, my best advice is to just go grab a pregnancy test and get some peace of mind.😎
Just take a test and let's hope for the best...
When I first found out I was pregnant, I didn't have any weird spotting or anything at all. For me, my period just straight-up vanished. But then again, I've talked to so many other women who said they actually had their regular period even though they were already pregnant...
Anyway, I'm sending some good vibes your way ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ so that little test shows a big fat plus sign and everything turns out perfectly...
I just hit week 35 and honestly? No pains yet...
restlessfox9 said:I'll drop this in this subforum as well, just in case someone might have an answer... 🙂

Ladies... I haven't been around here for a while. So, a few days ago I went to see my doctor, and he told me I had a miscarriage at 20 weeks. I was bleeding a little, and honestly, I just assumed it was my period since the symptoms felt identical—except the pain was absolutely unbearable, which is why I finally went in for an exam... anyway, he tells me this is "normal." He actually said most women who experience a loss this early don't even realize it happened??? And then he tells me not to worry. Now I'm asking you all: has anyone else gone through something similar? How am I supposed to process this? I mean, I truly cannot wrap my head around it... how can he possibly think this is just normal? :-(

blabica.. 😘
Honestly, I’m kind of at a loss for words here, other than just sending you a massive amount of 😘 and 🙂
. Hang in there—I really hope things turn around for you next time and that you get to snuggle up with those little ones way sooner than you ever expected...
analogwolf27... hey, look, it’s not the end of the world, I promise. Tomorrow is a totally fresh start. Just take a second to breathe, let the dust settle, and wait for things to level out...😘 😘 😘 🙂
Just take a pregnancy test..
Look, if you were using protection—like a condom—or if you’re on birth control, the odds of you being pregnant are basically zero. Honestly, it’s just as likely that you’ve just caught a nasty little cold or something..
On the flip side.. if your "protection" was just pulling out, then yeah, there’s a real chance you could be pregnant. Even though people think it's only an issue during ejaculation, sperm is actually present in the pre-cum too. It might be a smaller amount, but hey, it only takes one single sperm to make a baby happen..
So, seriously, grab a test and get some clarity. And even if the test comes back negative but your period still hasn't shown up.. don't just sit there panicking. Go see a doctor at a clinic or something. A missed period can be caused by a ton of different things besides pregnancy..
rustyorca15 said:Everyone, I simply couldn't contain my anxiety any longer and ended up taking a test last night around 11:30 PM. According to Clearblue, I am pregnant 😍 🙂
Yesterday marked the 28th day of my cycle. Is it possible that I am seeing this too early? Could there be an error in the reading? Should I perhaps purchase a different brand and try testing again...
I am actually PREGNANT!!!!

Honestly, they don't usually mess up like that... there's no way it'd show up this soon if it wasn't happening.

Hey guys, I’m dropping this old thread here because it might actually give you some of the answers you're looking for. No point in us all spinning our wheels and repeating the same stuff over and over again, right?
... just testing things out
rustyorca15... why would that even be weird? I mean, think about it—a single Olympic swimmer can bring in millions in sponsorships alone, regardless of how you look at it...
but if you want to play it safe, just hang tight until the day the money actually hits your account. I personally waited a few extra days just to be sure, but hey, it’s your call...
~~~~~~~~~ hope all your wishes come true...
John Rodriguez9 said:So, I’m thinking about picking up one of those pregnancy tests along with my boyfriend, just so we can both find out if I’m actually... you know... expecting? But here's the thing: how on earth am I supposed to break the news that I think I might be pregnant without making it super awkward? How do you even start that conversation?😕
Look, if I were you, I’d honestly just tell him he might be running a little behind on his cycle... and maybe suggest that grabbing a pregnancy test would be a pretty smart move at this point.
It worked like a charm for me!
We’ve got your back! 👍
Kevin Lee4 said:I don't know how old you are, since you're talking about gym class and all, but honestly? You should probably see a doctor...
Maybe you’re pregnant and just having a really light period, or maybe you had a miscarriage, or even just some weird hormone imbalance or something..
My best advice is to just go get checked out as soon as possible.😘
Yeah, and I mean "as soon as possible"...
