If you aren't seeing a result from either one, then the thing is clearly busted—or maybe it was just a dud from the factory to begin with. Honestly, you're probably better off just running the test again to be sure...

I mean, come on, at least now you can actually run some basic research and get your ducks in a row before the whole pregnancy thing kicks off and life gets crazy... 🙂
hiddenowl16 said:Ugh, I honestly don't even know if I'm in the right place, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask—since when it comes to "how to tell if you're pregnant," I am a total idiot 🙈, and I’m holding off on taking a test until I'm sure it won't be too early and give me some bogus false negative (I'm already 5 days late)
So, here's the deal...
Two days after my period was supposed to start, I finally saw a tiny bit of spotting—just a few pinkish drops (usually it's more brownish, but hey, blood is blood)—and since that's how it usually kicks off for me, I went ham on the Advil because those typical cramps have been killing me for a day or two now, so I wasn't even doubting it was just my cycle starting
Then this morning, I woke up and there was absolutely nothing, not even a drop (and my flow is normally pretty decent), but I figured maybe it would just pick up later in the day...
It didn't show up at all by this afternoon, and it's been three days since then (even though those pains are still hanging around)
I've been reading up on spotting and implantation bleeding, and this feels like it might fall into that category, but I don't have any other symptoms besides my usual PMS crap... I know a test is the only way to get a real answer, but I'm gonna wait another day or two before grabbing one—so in the meantime, if anyone out there has dealt with similar weird aches, please drop some smart 😬
I had spotting... just enough light bleeding to make me think that this time wasn't going to be anything
pregnancy-related... but I was totally wrong... for me, the tests always showed a positive a couple of days before my period actually arrived.
So, if you're already five days late, you can honestly just go ahead and take one now... as far as symptoms go, I didn't really feel anything at first...
all I felt was this constant sensation like I was about to leak at any moment, and my stomach was cramping just like it does right before my period starts.
Look, I already gave her my two cents over in the "I have a plus" thread... saying that getting pregnant after being 36 days late is a bit of a stretch
A gynecologist would be the one to tell you for sure... you mentioned your cousin didn't even show up on an ultrasound until she was 6 weeks along...
But based on your timeline, you should technically be about 7 weeks along by now... and at that stage, some people can definitely see it on a scan
I mean, some folks can see it just two or three days before their period is even due, let alone after you've missed your cycle for 36 days...😁
So, just out of curiosity... how old are you actually?
goldenharbor2 said:So, I guess if I pay extra, things will move along a bit faster?
Look, it’ll be done at the exact same speed whether you pay or not... everything stays on the same schedule... I don't see how you'd get it any faster than that...
goldenharbor2 said:Does anyone know if there's a private lab in the city where I can get my beta levels checked—and maybe an idea of the cost? I just really don't feel like waiting a whole week for results, I guess.
You don't even need to go hunting for some fancy private lab... you can just head over to the local hospital where they do it all the time anyway, pay the fee, and call it a day...

So, you're going for a cake that's just totally white, like zero patterns or little flowers or anything?
I'm basically conducting a full-on investigation like I'm working for the FBI 😬 but honestly, it's just because I haven't quite figured out
how to decorate my cake without making it look way too over-the-top or tacky...
Mark Kelly4 said:I'm planning on having this exact bow featured on my cake, just like the one on my thank-you note http://hotimg3.fotki.com/a/193_198/144_185/P1010643.jpg
It looks lovely... does that ribbon wrap around every single layer?
Those little ribbons wrapped around the cake, are they made out of satin or something else? 😕
do you think it’ll still look that sharp
and really pop if we actually decide to separate the levels
from one another?
Should I just go ahead and grab a satin ribbon, or what?
The cake is going to be tiered... you know, kind of winding upward in a spiral pattern
I was thinking about adding some fresh flowers to it?! 😕
So, I’ve been scrolling through this entire thread, reading every single thing you all have to say, but
I still feel like I need a little extra guidance.... I've decided everything is going to be
this deep burgundy and gold color scheme, so if anyone happens to have
some creative ideas for decorating the cake—or maybe even a photo
they could drop in here... I'd really appreciate it... thanks guys... 😘
I’m not a fan either... honestly, it gives off some kind of dark, ominous vibe, like something out of a bad horror flick...
Chloe Hayes51 said:nova, where did you order that boutique cake from?
A little sweet secret...
Watermelons 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
Thanks for the tip...
I finally went to try that boutique cake... honestly, it was incredible...
I didn't even hesitate, just ordered one right then and there...
Next time you're hanging out downtown, let me know—the first round of beers is on me...
And just so you know, I officially have my cake!!!! One less thing on my plate, thank God... 😘
