Kevin Morgan3, it counts—don't overthink it. The lines might look a little faint right now just because you’re in those early stages of pregnancy, but give it another two days and they should show up much darker! 😉
Huge congratulations!
You can technically take it as early as 12 days post-ovulation, though if you want any kind of peace of mind, I’d say holding out until at least 14 days post-ovulation is the way to go. 😉
But honestly? You really have to factor in whether you actually had late ovulation to begin with.

So, here’s the situation: my period is two weeks late. Given the symptoms I’m dealing with, I’m fairly certain I’m pregnant, but I have to ask—is it actually normal to deal with splitting headaches and a fever?
I haven't even taken a test yet, so there’s still that nagging doubt. Is it possible this isn't pregnancy at all, but just some random bug or illness? This is all brand new territory for me, so please, don't hold back on the advice—give it to me straight!
I did read that Clearblue tests are pretty reliable; has anyone here actually used one? 🤷🙏🙄🙂

Listen, both a fever and headaches can definitely be signs of pregnancy. Since you're already two weeks behind, honestly, just go grab a test and pee on it. If it comes back positive, head over to a CVS or Walgreens and ask the pharmacist what's safe to take for the headache.
When I did my first test, I went with Clearblue and it was spot on—it showed a positive, which turned out to be right since my period never showed up. There are plenty of other brands out there too, so just check the shelf at the drugstore. And seriously, let us know what happens! 😍
analogskipper12, what’s the word today? I'm still holding out hope for +

I mean, if you aren't pregnant, you just aren't 🤷
.
PS, the test came back negative again. Still no period.
I feel like I'm doing something wrong here 🤣

Look, I don't have much experience with this, but you're already seven days late. Just go see a doctor! 👍
analogskipper12, what’s the latest scoop?

Keep everything crossed for me, will you? 👍

I’m crossing my fingers, my toes, and everything else for you—honestly, even my husband is joining in on the good vibes here... 😉 Let us know the second you hear anything!
Carol Edwards7 said:Well, unfortunately, it’s just not happening for us... at least not for the next 20 days or so. I’m actually thinking about picking up some ovulation predictor kits to try out. Has anyone here ever used them?

I haven't tried them yet—but honestly, this was only our very first failed attempt. It wasn't even something we were actively planning, but after all this waiting and seeing that negative result, it finally clicked: we really, truly want a baby. Now we're going to get serious about it over the coming months. 🤣 If we don't make it happen within this year, then we'll start looking into more intensive options. 😉
Honestly, I think this whole thread has just run its course for us! 🤣 I already went out and bought a test, but at this point, I’m not even stressing about whether I’m pregnant 😂—or maybe I won't even be asking the question again until next month!
We all failed! 😂 Unbelievable. Honestly, whatever—I guess I’ll just use this failure as a study guide for next time.🤣
Thanks to everyone for the advice and all the support, but look—it actually happened. I failed. 😢 It doesn't matter, though—I'm feeling a little down right now, but I'll get over it.
I’m dying to get in on this too, but everyone keeps telling me I should just wait until tomorrow morning!
This stuff is some kind of weird beige—almost brownish color! My bad if I’m calling out the wrong person here... And look, it isn't even really flowing; it’s more like a thick, colored white wash!🤷 Again, sorry if I totally misidentified who this is about.
Alright! Thanks, everyone. But wait—where are the rest of the girls who were supposed to be running the tests today?
Should I just dive in now, or wait until tomorrow morning?
I didn't bother taking a test this morning because, get this, I noticed about four or five drops of light blood on my underwear last night—so naturally, I just assumed my period was finally showing up. But now? Absolutely nothing. Zilch. Not a single thing! So, what on earth am I supposed to make of that? Someone please tell me, because I am honestly at my wit's end here! 🤷
Honestly, I’m trying my hardest not to obsess over this test, but it’s a losing battle—my eyes just keep drifting back to that little drawer where I tucked it away! 😁: I catch myself constantly wondering if I should just bite the bullet and take it tomorrow, or if that's jumping the gun? Then again, part of me is dying to just get it over with because I am so incredibly bored of playing the guessing game! Plus, I really need to go get my hair colored, but even that's on hold until I see what the results say.
I’m planning on taking my pee test tomorrow if I don't get any news by then. I picked up one of those Personal pregnancy tests and it's $13. Apparently, the instructions say you don't even have to wait until first thing in the morning—you can just do it whenever during the day.
Look, when I deal with my monthly cycle, I don't usually get those nagging lower back aches or that dizzy feeling. And as far as my temperature goes? It’s pretty much standard for me—usually hovering right around 96 degrees.🙂 For a couple of days, it was running just a tiny bit higher than usual. But I just checked it again and now it's sitting at 95.2. Honestly, maybe my thermometer is just acting up.😲
So, wait—you're telling me dizziness can actually be a sign of pregnancy instead of just standard PMS?
