How many of you ran a test late in the afternoon and saw a positive, even though your period was only lagging by maybe four or six days?

And did any of you end up getting a negative result later on, only to find out you were definitely pregnant—or maybe you just waited until the next morning and the first thing you saw was a solid positive?

I tried testing in the afternoon and it came back positive. I used Clearblue because I trust them to be accurate throughout the day. I hadn't slept in 30 hours right before, so I was worried my exhaustion or the sheer nerves might mess with the results... but it was legit.😍
Thomas Foster4 said:rapidrider3, thanks. Honestly, it doesn't matter if I am pregnant... even if it wasn't part of the master plan (and I live for a good plan), it is definitely what I wanted... it just happened early!
I am curious, though—what is the earliest someone can detect a pregnancy on a test? Is it from the day of ovulation, or after fertilization? Does anyone here actually know?
Last night, while listening to U2, I was tempted to grab a beer, but I didn't want to take any chances... now that I have some parties coming up this weekend, I need to decide whether I should be acting like an expectant mother or just a teenager, haha.

You can drink beer during pregnancy, just don't overdo it. I'm pregnant myself and I have a beer every once in a while. My doctor said it's fine and that some pregnant women actually crave it.
Hold on. Based on what you just said, there’s nothing conclusive here. You’d need to wait at least a few days after your period is late before you can actually tell if you're pregnant...
Taylor Swift, just buy a test or go see a doctor...

I ordered cookies and cake from a bakery in Kearny over by the Dubac transit hub. We had $27 per kilogram of cookies, which arrived on trays with lids already on them. It was super easy—no hassle of unpacking boxes or arranging everything ourselves. As for the cake for 200 guests, it came out to about $0.00.
