😂😂😂 That sounds 👍

I guess I have some hair issues too, though honestly, I had so much hair both before and during my pregnancy. It’s not like I lost a ton, but I decided to give it a trim anyway—partly because of the thinning and partly just because I wanted a change. Now I'm just letting it grow out and seeing how it goes. My sister, on the other hand, never really got her thickness back after having her baby.
Larry Edwards3 said:Dennis Kim5 I honestly don't quite understand why you're spiraling like this. It seems physically impossible for you to have ended up pregnant just because he used his finger... I think I mentioned that to you once before. There is really no way you're pregnant, I'm fairly certain about that. Just try to stay calm and be cool.

😕😕😕 I guess I clearly missed something here

Based on my math, I probably conceived around July 12th, and when I finally sat down for my appointment on August 13th, I was roughly five weeks and six days along. Everything looked perfectly fine—we could see the embryo and even hear the little heartbeat!

Aaaaaaaah, I am at 5 weeks and 6 days today and heading in for my first appointment! I’m not necessarily expecting to hear a heartbeat since I know some women don't hear it until much later, but if it happens, 😍😍😍
Chloe Morgan6 said:So, my period was four days late, and honestly, I’ve just been a total nervous wreck the whole time. I kept telling myself, "It'll show up eventually, don't panic," but I couldn't help it. By Monday, I finally hit my limit and grabbed an Intim test at CVS. It showed a plus sign. My boyfriend and I, well, we practically blacked out for a second. We went out and bought a second test, then a third, then a fourth... they all said the same thing. I think I would've probably bought ten more that same day if my guy hadn't stepped in and stopped me. Anyway, I'm clearly pregnant. I already scheduled an appointment with my OB-GYN, but I'm still feeling really anxious because, I guess, a baby isn't exactly what I need right now. So, yeah... that's where things are at.

If I could offer a little advice, maybe take a moment to reflect before sharing things like this. You're carrying a new life inside you now. Just imagine if your own mom had told you that she didn't need you—how would that feel? This child isn't at fault for anything; it's just the result of you and your boyfriend. Now, you both just need to be smart about this and step up to your responsibilities.

Do you think $667 might be overkill for a wedding cake? I don't have a photo handy, but let me try to paint a picture for you—so, the centerpiece is this massive castle-shaped display, featuring eight smaller tiered cakes, confetti cannons, and an actual working fountain that even lights up? It’s for a guest list of 200 people, and honestly, everyone looks at us like we’ve lost our minds whenever we mention it... I’m starting to get a little nervous that we might have bitten off more than we can chew! That said, the cake itself is incredibly decadent (and delicious, I’ve already had a taste! 😉)—there is so much to see, and I think my fiancé is going to fall in love with it at first sight... anyway, please tell me I'm just overthinking things and that we didn't make a huge mistake!?😕

I think that's a fair price. Mine was $2,800 for 300 people, and it also had a glowing fountain 😁

Some people actually quoted me over $4,000 for that many guests, so I'd say you really got a great deal.

Christian Cruz41 said:From what I've seen on their website, those cakes look amazing. But here's the problem: it's been nine days now and I haven't heard back from them at all. Honestly, I'm at a loss. What should I do?

In my experience, and from what I've heard from most people around here, they usually respond the same day. Maybe try sending them another email? Or, I guess you could just give them a quick call!

Dana Gomez89 said:Honestly, I don't care about how smooth the texture is... as long as there isn't an overkill of cream. That frosting was actually decent enough for me.

I guess you can always choose between using fondant or whipped cream if you prefer.

Dana Gomez89 said:So, should I go with the buttercream or the whipped cream?

Oh man, I honestly have no idea. I just saw this cake at a local expo and on their website, and it was love at first sight. I basically walked up and said, "I want that one," and that was that. We'll probably nail down all the specifics regarding the decorations, colors, and flavors closer to the wedding date. My understanding is that they'll drop it off at the venue around midnight, and the staff there will set it all up so it looks exactly like the photo. 🙂

I’ve been reading some discussions here about fondant versus whipped cream, but to be honest, I don't quite grasp the technical side of it. From what I can gather, fondant makes it look prettier, while whipped cream might taste better? If that's the case, I think I'd lean toward the whipped cream because I'm sure it'll still look lovely, and since they're delivering it chilled, it should stay perfect!

Dana Gomez89 said:Fine, thanks... but you don't even have a rough estimate for about 300 people?

I actually ordered a cake for 350 guests, so that's probably about right for a group of 300—it was huge!! 🙂

Mine ended up costing $933. At first, I thought it was a bit pricey, but once I started checking out some of the highly recommended spots I found here on the forum, I realized their prices were way higher. One place even quoted me $1500!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly, I've had treats from Sweet Secret many times before, and they are seriously amazing! I won't get into the specific price breakdown 🙂

I ended up getting a cake from them as well!! 🙂
