Watched it last night
I actually burst out laughing near the end. It’s honestly impressive how bad this was.
I couldn't help but wonder if the script was written by an eleven-year-old, or if someone was just pulling a prank like in that series "The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window"—which, for what it's worth, isn't half bad considering it's a parody.
But here? I think they were being dead serious. 😁
The acting was actually decent at times, but everything else...
Watch it anyway. At least you won't be bored.
I just walked out of the theater. I'm only halfway through, and honestly? It’s a total snooze fest. Everything feels superficial and dull, and those big "emotional" beats feel completely unearned. I managed to grit my teeth through an hour, but then I checked my phone and saw the runtime is 135 minutes. Hard pass. I'm heading home to watch Vertigo with Elizabeth Taylor just to recover from this
Kimberly Smith69 said:I have a question. I'm over 45, and for the last two months—following a major shock to my system—whenever I get worked up or excited, I experience heavy bleeding during my period. One day it actually landed me in the hospital. They did an ultrasound and scheduled a Doppler, telling me everything looks clear. But they just won't listen when I tell them this started after that massive shock. What can I do to stop this intense bleeding from catching me off guard? Should I just take a sedative and some Advil 600?

I hear you, because I deal with something similar. After periods of intense stress or sudden shocks—which, unfortunately, there have been plenty of—I’ve experienced mid-cycle bleeding. And when it happens, the flow is heavy. Hormones are directly tied to our mental state, and some women react to stress exactly this way. One gynecologist once explained to me that stress can impact hormones so significantly that it can completely halt ovulation or even trigger a random ovulation in the middle of a cycle. Sadly, I don't think there's much a doctor can actually do about it. Avoiding stress as much as humanly possible seems to be the only real solution.
Honestly, I’d give anything to have this forum back to its original size. Maybe it's just my eyesight failing me, but it feels like the layout has shrunk by half. Brandon Myers, help me out here, please.
Also, thanks for the emojis, everyone. They're actually pretty great.
Everything is getting narrower and narrower... It almost hit the halfway point on my screen. What on earth is going on?

Go to Tools > Settings > Advanced > General. Just check the box that says "Warn you when a page tries to redirect or reload."
If you're using Chrome, try this:
Go to Tools - Settings - Advanced - General. Then, check the box that says "Warn when a website tries to redirect."
It stopped redirecting me automatically. 😍
edit: By the time I finished typing this, they already beat me to it. Thanks, Freud.
The bleeding finally stopped. I’m thinking it was just some irritation from the exam, so everything seems fine now. I've got a little bit of light yellowish-white discharge going on, so now I'm just waiting to see if my period shows up or not.😍
What day of your cycle are you on? Any symptoms kicking in yet?
So, here’s the situation: I went to my OBGYN today because I’ve been feeling all those early pregnancy symptoms—tender, swollen breasts, darker nipples, some pelvic pressure, mild nausea, fatigue, and even a slight fever.
I won't get my period for another 6 or 7 days, so I haven't bothered with a pregnancy test yet; it would just be a waste of money at this stage.
During the ultrasound, the doctor spotted two corpora lutea and mentioned that I actually had two ovulations this cycle. Naturally, at this point, you can't see much else besides those two large corpus luteum structures. (I have a genetic predisposition for twins, so having two ovulations isn't exactly rare for me.😍)
Now, once I got home, I noticed this strange yellowish-clear discharge along with two drops of blood. It feels like it could be implantation bleeding, but part of me is worried it might just be the start of my period or maybe something caused by the exam itself. Could that be it?
It's only day 19 of my cycle.
Does anyone have any insight into what this might be? I want this baby so badly that I’m already overthinking everything.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or advice.

Anyone who’s actually read the book knows it practically begs to be adapted for the screen.🙏
You should seriously look into raspberry leaf tea; I can’t recommend it enough. People call it a miracle herb, and if you search online or check the various wellness forums, you'll see why. I wouldn't say this without having tried it myself—so many women have found success getting pregnant thanks to this tea. It helps balance your hormones and regulates your cycle, so everything stays on schedule, which makes conceiving much easier.
When your cycle is this unpredictable, there isn't much to do but wait until the very last minute passes.
As for the symptoms, it's honestly miserable how they mimic PMS so perfectly. How are you ever supposed to tell the difference?
The days leading up to your period are just plain awful; you find yourself praying it won't start. Personally, I can't even bother taking a test until Friday. By then, it'll be significantly late. Honestly, who has the patience for this kind of waiting?
Thanks, Richard Palmer9. My cycles are usually pretty consistent, but I suspect this herbal tea I’ve been drinking might be stretching things out. I used to hit the 24 or 25-day mark reliably, but lately, I’m looking at 28 or 29 days.
Today is only day 26. Technically, according to my own data, I'm running late, but I wouldn't bet the house on it just yet.
It sounds bizarre, but as much as it sounds ridiculous, having a breakout gives me a little bit of hope.😂
I’ve heard it can actually be a sign—apparently, women without breakouts deal with spotting, while those prone to acne see their skin clear up almost instantly.
As for me? Instead of being clear-skinned, I currently have two massive volcanoes on my forehead and a literal crater on the side of my face. Great.
😳
I bought a pregnancy test, but I’m holding off until my period is at least five days late, mostly because I’ve learned the hard way how unreliable those early tests can be.
Now, I’m officially one day late. I’ve been dealing with some pretty intense nausea and dizziness—nothing that makes me throw up, just constant. I’m also sleeping way more than usual, and my temperature is sitting right at 98.8°F. On top of that, I’m breaking out, which is wild because I usually have great skin without any blemishes. That’s all part of the potential symptom list.
My breasts aren't sore and I don't have any abdominal pain. Not at all. Honestly, I wonder if it could be from the Vitex I've been taking; it’s really helped regulate my cycle and cleared up the breast tenderness I used to get before my period would start.
So, is there any reason to be hopeful here? What do you guys think?
Getting pregnant isn't exactly a walk in the park—at least, not for most people. It’s possible, sure, but it can feel a bit like hitting the jackpot in a lottery.
The real question is, how fertile are you actually? My cousin’s wife managed to conceive on both attempts right away. She wasn't on any birth control, but she basically just slept with him once and it worked. Both times, first try. Meanwhile, I’ve been trying for a year now, tracking my ovulation windows, keeping my legs up, sleeping with pillows under my hips, drinking all sorts of herbal teas... and absolutely nothing.
Is your period late?
lonemarlin81 said:Nothing. Finally got it today. I needed four tests and a massive dose of reality to bring me back down to earth...
I’m sorry, don't let it get you down. I’ve been dealing with these same disappointments for eight months now. Eventually, you stop stressing so much, and once things finally settle down, you'll see that positive result. That's how I keep myself going.
By the way, I'm still waiting on my period; it hasn't arrived yet, though I'm not exactly holding my breath. The specific uterine cramping has eased up today, but my breasts are still feeling normal.
I’ve tried just about every test on the market—everything from those cheap drugstore strips to Clearblue. Honestly, I could probably go through two or three a month at this rate, especially since I kept having these light spotting episodes I assumed were implantation bleeding. My lower abdomen is still aching, but my period still hasn't arrived. Usually, the pain only hits right when my cycle starts, and even then, it's brief—maybe two or three hours. This time, though? It's been going on for two days straight.
My breasts usually swell up and get sensitive right before my period, but this month, there’s been absolutely nothing. It feels bizarre.
I’m heading out to grab another test tomorrow. In the meantime, I was wondering: did everyone experience sore, swollen breasts during early pregnancy, or is it possible to skip that symptom entirely?
Alright, ladies, here’s the deal:
I’ve been trying to get pregnant for eight months now. Every single month is the same cycle of panic—taking tests, only to be met with more negatives. It’s been exhausting. I’ve dealt with hormonal imbalances, breast tenderness that was actually painful, and even what I thought was implantation bleeding, yet I still end up with nothing but negative results.
Here is where things stand right now:
My period was supposed to start yesterday. It's running a little late, which is unusual because my cycle usually arrives early, especially when I'm stressed out.
But here’s the weird part—my breasts aren't sore at all this month. That’s a strange shift for me, considering they were so tender lately I could barely sleep.
The only symptom I’m feeling is some lower abdominal cramping, like my period is imminent, but it just won't show up. I feel like I’m running to the bathroom every ten minutes, convinced I’ve already started, but then... nothing.
I’m waiting to take another test until I can find a bit of courage, mostly because I’ve already blown about $267 on negative tests.
What do you guys think? Is there any chance I’m actually pregnant, even if the usual breast pain is totally missing?
Sending love and keeping my fingers crossed for everyone else too.
