😢😢😢😢😢😢My period arrived after eleven days of waiting, signaling that this month will not bring us the news we were hoping for; however, does one truly allow such setbacks to dampen their resolve? We remain steadfast in our hope for a new addition to our family, and we shall return to our efforts shortly😉. To all of you who are currently praying to see that positive result on a pregnancy test, I wish you nothing but the very best and sincerely hope that your tests turn positive very soon. Should there be any definitive news on my end, I promise to share it with you immediately. I wish everyone heartfelt luck, and I thank you for your patience with me throughout this journey. Sending love to you all, and we shall speak again soon🙂
I have ceased performing pregnancy tests following those two negative results, yet my appetite has diminished significantly; I am currently managing only two meals a day as the very thought of food becomes nauseating. I had to force myself to eat some chicken nuggets this evening just to get something down. Additionally, I am experiencing some sharp, stabbing pains and a general sense of lethargy.
Thank you, Jacob White37. I have just finished reading your response. I attempted to call, but I haven't had any luck getting through. Now, I am starting to feel some pain in my lower right back, though I cannot be certain of the cause—after all, what can one truly expect when calling a doctor's office? Perhaps things will subside by the time her order arrives on December 10th. Today marks the eleventh day since my period was due 🙏🤷You likely believe I am losing my mind, counting these days so meticulously, but I refuse to let the final glimmer of hope fade away.🙂
Hello again, if you will permit me to bother you all once more. I am keeping a careful tally of the days, and as of today, my period is eleven days late. I find myself wondering: is it possible for a primary care physician to issue a referral for routine blood work related to pregnancy, or perhaps even a more specific referral for a HCG test? I thank you all for your patience, as I know my constant questioning can be quite a burden.🙂thank you everyone
Hello again, if you will permit me another moment of your time. I find myself counting the days once more; today marks eleven days since my cycle was expected. I am left wondering: is it within the authority of a primary care physician to issue a referral for routine blood work related to pregnancy, or perhaps even a specific request for a HCG test? I thank you all for your patience, as I know my constant inquiries may be a burden to this group.

My thanks to all of you; I am well aware that you must endure my constant stream of inquiries.
I have been running a slight fever and feeling an unrelenting sense of exhaustion lately. 😕Given this persistent, rather unpleasant odor, should I consult my physician to investigate what might be causing such discomfort?
Thank you🙂. I wish you the very best of luck as well; may your pregnancy be beautiful and pleasant, and may you truly enjoy every moment with your little one. I find myself wondering why she didn't schedule an appointment for me sooner, as I feel it would have been prudent to confirm everything via ultrasound, though I suppose she is the expert in this matter. Perhaps I am simply being overly impatient, given that my own tests initially came back negative, yet I have read that false negatives can certainly occur.
I have a question for the group. Initially, I noticed a thick white discharge, but now there is a strange, somewhat unpleasant odor developing—what could this signify? On top of that, my period is now ten days late; my last one started on December 10th. Last night, I experienced some unusual pains and felt a faint rhythmic pulsing in my abdomen. It doesn't feel quite like my usual intestinal movements, as I am very familiar with how my digestion behaves, so I am uncertain. Is it truly possible to feel such sensations this early on?😕😕😕
It has been nine days since my period was due. However, Beta Diagnostics refuses to perform any testing until I reach the fifteen-day mark. I intend to call them today to schedule yet another appointment. My hips and legs have been aching whenever I stand for extended periods, which is quite unusual for me. After researching various articles, I’ve realized that many women have received false negatives despite being pregnant. Does this mean there is still a genuine possibility that a negative result could be inaccurate? This is certainly uncharacteristic, as my cycle has been perfectly regular all year.
I neglected to mention one detail. Nearly an hour after completing the test, I decided to take another look at it, only to notice yet another line that appears slightly more distinct than the others. What could this potentially signify? I would appreciate everyone's insight on this matter.
Here is a brief anecdote from one of our forum members, illustrating how things can indeed go sideways. I personally refer to my child as my little David Copperfield. I have shared this before, but the reality is that my pregnancy was delayed by about three months; during that entire window, not a single one of the four doctors I consulted even realized I was pregnant. Every single test I performed—at least twice a week, ranging from the most expensive brands to the cheapest drugstore options, and even the clinical tests at the local clinic—came back negative. It wasn't until my favorite physician finally confirmed the pregnancy that I realized I was already thirteen weeks along. Since that experience, I have no intention of ever buying another test again.
Is it possible that the test result was inaccurate simply because my doctor calculated my pregnancy at three weeks and three days? Could that timing be the reason why the test came back negative? Hope refuses to die until the moment I see that dreaded little line—which, quite frankly, I despise right now—and I am praying to God that it never appears and instead shows a positive result. Please, forgive my rambling; I know you all understand this struggle all too well, and I feel even more overwhelmed since I am relatively young despite already having two children. During my previous pregnancies, I didn't experience any symptoms whatsoever, aside from a single bout of vomiting and, of course, the absence of that dreaded line.
I finally reached my breaking point and bought an Intim Plus test, but the result was negative.😕I am doing fine, truly, though I feel compelled to head down to the pharmacy, feeling utterly defeated because I know this test gave me the right answer. How can I explain to her how terrible I feel when the tears just won't stop?
Just wanted to let you all know that I’ve decided not to take another test since I haven't seen any results yet enough to make a call.🙏I plan on waiting until Monday before heading to see my doctor; there is little point in wasting money on more tests when those funds could be better spent providing for my little ones. Is it not better to be certain? Lately, I have been overwhelmed by constant fatigue, frequent trips to the bathroom, restless nights, and even some toothaches.😠Additionally, I am experiencing pelvic pressure and a persistent sense of hunger.
I am feeling truly disheartened right now. I reached out to my OB-GYN, and my sister, who works there, informed me that even though I am technically early, there is absolutely no point in doing an alpha test yet. Apparently, they insist on following such rigid protocols that I have to wait until I’ve missed my period for an entire month before they will even consider an alpha. I am going to go pick up a test myself to take in the morning, and I will update you all once I have the results. Honestly, I am just so disappointed and bitter toward these doctors; it feels as though they simply do not care about anything. Even if I were to walk in with a positive result, I suspect the doctor would just claim it isn't possible. It is truly shameful how they operate and the way they conduct their practice.😠😠😠😠
My breasts have started to feel tender whenever they are touched. I haven't started my period yet, and I am struggling to decide whether to take another pregnancy test; I am terrified that I will somehow mess up the process again. My supply of tests is nearly exhausted, even though I feel so incredibly bloated. Today marks the eighth day since my period was due, and I find myself counting 🙏 every single day, praying for the sake of the little one.
🤷Hmm... is it possible that my feet are already starting to ache slightly whenever I have to stand for extended periods?😕🤷
You are correct, dear; peace of mind is essential. However, what happens if you simply ignore a potential issue and things go wrong? Of course you will feel regret if something isn't right. It has been a week since my test was due; I attempted to take it two days after missing the window, though I did so in the afternoon rather than the morning—despite the fact that it requires morning administration—and the result came back negative. Furthermore, the instructions explicitly stated that one should avoid consuming fluids before the test, yet I had already drank quite a bit before I finally read those directions 🤷
I experienced this exact same thing during my second pregnancy; the tests came back negative and there was absolutely nothing visible on the scans. I eventually found myself being rushed to the hospital under the suspicion of an ectopic pregnancy, where they were prepared to perform surgery on my little girl, who is now two and a half years old. However, I felt a deep, unshakable intuition telling me otherwise, and I actually slipped away from the hospital to ensure my sister could sign the release forms so I could take full responsibility for my own medical decisions. Just one week later, during a follow-up ultrasound with my OBGYN, we heard the tiny, unmistakable heartbeat of my little one. 🙂What are your thoughts on this? My doctor hasn't prescribed any medication yet, but she did advise me that if my cycle remains delayed, I should return in a week for another checkup.
