Europa League Qualifiers, Aug 25, 8:30 PM Seattle Sounders vs. LA Galaxy over 4.5 yellow cards @ 1.60 on FanDuel (4) Confidence: 7/10
Alright, so we’re looking at a wide-open matchup here. The scoreline could go either way, and since the stadium is gonna be absolutely packed, I figure that electric atmosphere is gonna push both sides to play a bit more aggressively. In the first leg, they handed out six yellows, and honestly, most recent Sounders games have been hitting the over lately. The ref is a card magnet, too. We've got Felix Zwayer, and his recent stats are pretty wild: he dropped 3 yellows and a red in his last outing, and before that, it was a run of 7, then 5 plus a red, then 5, 8, 8... you get the idea. He isn't afraid to pull them out.
I don't know much about Turkish clubs, but Rijeka looks solid. The squad is basically the same as last season, so they've got that chemistry down. Plus, they're match-fit while the Turkish league hasn't even kicked off yet. The guys from Rijeka are definitely coming out to hunt for a win here.
I think there's some value in backing Rijeka at 1.60. If you're feeling a bit more daring, maybe take the double chance (X2) at 2.00.
The radio guy just said there are two different crowds of Dinamo Chicago supporters at Hard Rock Stadium right now—one group backing Mamić and the other totally against him.
Sam Murphy said:If we actually make it to the finals, I’d much rather face Germany than Norway. Our guys would be way more fired up against the Germans.
Actually, I think they'll be more hyped for the Norwegians, especially since they already blew it earlier in the Olympics.
Hey, is 16 way too old to start training Kickboxing? I’d honestly rather get into MMA, but there isn't anything like that around here—just kickboxing and boxing options.
Eric Flores said:There’s no such thing as a stupid question, just a stupid answer, which happens to be yours. I guess I'm just asking because as soon as the 90th minute hits, the parlay settles, but this was a tournament cup game, so I'm wondering if they settle right at the 90-minute mark even if my bet actually hit during overtime in the 92nd minute.
Apology, but maybe try actually reading the forum once in a while.
I mean, Weidman could honestly lose this one to Belfort. It might actually be our first title change, I guess. And yeah, I'm with you on Werdum—Cain is gonna have a hell of a time in there.
