Andrew Richardson8 said:So, yeah, he was just insanely boring. At first, I honestly thought he was dealing with depression—maybe he was, who knows, I’m no shrink—but as things went on, it started feeling more like he was just desperate for attention or something. Eventually, he just started getting on everyone's nerves. Me included.

Kinda like this guy right here.

Look, you actually hit the nail on the head there. 👍 And I mean, I really wouldn't rule out an explanation like that either.
Most people don't even realize what's actually eating at them.

State Farm said:I mean, I totally get where they're coming from, but honestly, there just isn't an easy fix... I guess I'll just have to figure this mess out on my own, though I’m definitely not feeling super optimistic about it... who even knows what else might go sideways at this point... anything could happen, really...

Do you actually have a solid friend in your corner who isn't totally caught up in your own head?
When things get messy, you really need someone on the outside—someone who isn't bogged down by all the same drama—to look at the situation with some actual logic. You need someone to give you that push when you're just spinning your wheels.

Stana said:it’s not even that I’m scared of getting an answer... I just really want to know it, but I guess I’m not "normal" enough to actually reach it... honestly, I’m spiraling right now because I can't decide if I'm rooting for Kareem or Morales more since there's just so much going on inside me... but for me, suicide always feels like the solution to everything... that’s just the thing, it seems impossible or maybe just way too hard to fix

Suicide is just an escape hatch.
What exactly are you running from? Do you even know?

I guess you mean density, not size...

Density? 😕 Never even heard that word before, honestly.

Alma said:Bradley Bennett9: look, we just don't have enough proof to say anything for certain, plus modern physics basically argues that the whole universe popped out of something and will eventually just vanish (black holes and all that). but then again, thermodynamics claims—specifically if you follow the rules—that nothing is actually created or destroyed, meaning total energy stays constant (which, according to Einstein, is mass times c squared) no matter what kind of chaos is happening around us. honestly, it sounds pretty contradictory, at least based on how I've managed to wrap my head around it.

You're saying we don't have enough evidence, but man, we've got plenty to work with. I mean, I can get behind Einstein as both a scientist and a philosopher, and those laws of thermodynamics aren't going anywhere.
But seriously, how are you gonna prove whether or not there's a 4D universe—spatially speaking—that might be overlapping with our own? Who even knows? And we haven't even touched on the whole origin and end of the world thing yet. Or maybe there's this other sphere, a parallel world where people's souls hang out temporarily or permanently, kind of like what you read about in the Tibetan book of the dead.
There are tons of examples out there. And who’s actually able to prove those things are just nonsense, like, that they aren't describing something that really exists? It's just that we can't measure it yet because we simply don't have the right tools.

Alma said:Maybe there isn't really a beginning or an end. Everything just flows, and nothing ever truly starts or disappears.

I mean, I totally agree. That’s basically the REAL answer right there. 👍

Alma said:@Bradley Bennett9: "In the beginning was the Word..."

But what about before the beginning?

Honestly, I don't have a clue. And I'm pretty sure nobody actually does...

Alma said:Anna: "Thought is the primary and most powerful energy, and everything starts from there."
Can you actually provide some evidence to back that up?
Because honestly, sometimes people just act like a rock rolling down a hill
and, without even realizing what's actually driving them, they go along with this idea that
they're somehow the ones causing their own movement.

P.S. I'm dying to see an answer here, since nobody else seems to have managed to find one anywhere.

In the beginning was the Word... 🙂

Stan Lee said:exactly..it's the same thing every single day...just me and my computer..and I mean, I actually feel pretty good when I'm online ..but it feels like MOST people are constantly lecturing me about how I need to get out more....honestly, it's just boring

Have you ever stopped to realize that civilization managed to thrive for ages without computers? 🙂 People used to actually hang out with one another. But this self-imposed isolation you're doing is probably just feeding into that crappy mental state of yours.

Stana said:nah, it's just a nickname based on my last name

so I guess I'm gonna try a few things for a little bit, though I doubt I'll actually go see a psychiatrist or anything like that, so we'll just have to see how it goes...

Now that we actually know what you're looking for, what have you been doing up until now to try and help yourself, or have you even had anyone else trying to step in and help you out?

Stana said:they’ve been telling me this a million times... but I just refuse to go because I don't see the point... who even cares about anyone there... they'll just toss you straight into a psych ward and pump you full of meds...

honestly, I might as well just end it all myself

I mean, it really all comes down to who you're dealing with. A doctor. If you get lucky, maybe you'll stumble upon someone who actually gives a damn and tries to help you instead of just doing the bare minimum.

Look, we could sit here all day listing off different types of people.
But the bottom line is this: do you actually want to climb out of this hole? Do you even want anyone to help you?

P.S. Based on your handle, I'm guessing you're a girl. Am I right?

"Real heroes are forged in the fire"
It’s a total cliché, I know, but honestly? It’s true. It’s easy as hell to act like you've got it all together when everything is going your way, and that's great and all.
But once life actually hits the fan and some disaster drops on your head, that's when you see what people are actually made of.
Suicide is just an escape. Everyone has a right—and honestly, a responsibility—to protect their own life. Plus, when you take yourself out, you're basically ripping yourself away from everyone else. Like, how would you even process it if both your parents were gone? Would you just be like, "Oh well, at least they don't have any more problems now"? I highly doubt it. So, please, don't do that to anyone.

Go get some help. See a psychiatrist or something. And I'm being dead serious here.

And then I’m just sitting here like, why—seriously, why?
I wasn't even asking for your unsolicited musical critiques, I was just trying to find out the deal with how things actually work over there, you know? Like, what's the vibe and where is everything located?

Anyway, let's just start racking up counters for these totally pointless posts...

Seriously? Like, could you maybe have tried using a search engine for once?
Here’s what you get if you just use something like Google:
http://www.google.com/search?q=mary+tyler+moore

Then you can actually go read up on who she is.

So I heard some rumor floating around that Christina Aguilera finally moved back to the States. Honestly, I have no clue what’s actually legit and what’s just noise, but I'm dying to know. Does anyone actually have the inside scoop on this?

Also, does anybody happen to know what the deal is with Mary Tyler Moore?
