I’m running into a bit of a snag. I was trying to set up my online banking for the first time, but I can't seem to get past the login screen. Every time I try to enter my username and password, the system only recognizes numbers and completely ignores any letters I type. My keyboard seems to be working fine otherwise, I'm using Internet Explorer 7, and I've already made sure my cookies are enabled.😢
Right now, I’m just using a basic checking account at Bank of America for my student needs, so I’ve been thinking about opening a savings account over at Chase Bank specifically to get a Visa Microsoft card. It seems like a smarter move than just opening a foreign currency account; I was planning on setting up a standard liquid savings account, but then I noticed some accounts are subject to taxes. I’m assuming this one isn't, but I can't be certain. Also, is there a minimum deposit required to actually open this type of savings account? I'm not asking because of PayPal or anything, just wondering what the baseline requirement is for the initial setup. Is this a solid plan, or should I be looking into a different way to handle this? My only real goal is having a reliable way to make online purchases.😉
