It’s wild, but even this serial killer once said: “That was the thrill for me. That first murder made me feel like I’d finally found my purpose in life. By the thirtieth one, it felt like just fixing a cabinet. So, I started torturing them because that’s where the joy was!” I mean, seriously?! The guy actually thought he found his calling!!!!
And... please, don't go thinking I'm some kind of total freak or that I'm actually rooting for him....
But there’s a grain of truth in what he said (I'm a firm believer that you can learn something from anyone, even the dark stuff).
The real question is... how do you actually find what makes you happy?
Try looking back at what you wanted when you were a kid or maybe a teenager!! What did you love doing? (I don't know... sketching, writing, reading, jamming out to music... whatever it was)
Doing that really helped me. Though, I had to fight like hell to tune out everyone else's noise and realize how much people are just... drowning in their own fears. Honestly, I'm still working on it.
It’s hard to be brutally honest with people because most folks are so checked out—they don't even get it half the time.
What do you guys think?
I don't know, I figured this out a while ago and I've been living by it since... and honestly, there's nothing wrong with telling someone the truth to their face if it's true... might at least wake some of those sheep up.
btw... check this out.
And to all of you saying life has no meaning... why are you even here? Here is my take: the odds of being born are lower than winning the Powerball. Since I already hit that jackpot, I'm going to live this life to the fullest and enjoy the things I love—while staying responsible, of course (mostly to myself), so I can actually afford to live that way.
