Alright. A little update regarding forum moderation:
I left clear warnings on that thread—more than one, actually—after it devolved into a pure chat room, which isn't allowed under our site rules. After deleting about 130 posts, I asked users to stop flooding the thread. Then I'm back to deleting more posts, issuing more warnings... and then it finally hits me—we have red cards for a reason! 🙂 🎉

And here we are, right back in the middle of the drama. 👍

Can someone please give me a coherent explanation of what the actual point of this thread is supposed to be?

Why is it that an actual adulterer isn't allowed to post—even if they're writing in their own style—yet we're forced to endure other forum members who haven't even done anything wrong, but just sit there endlessly repeating the same tired clichés and phrases that have been posted here a thousand times already?
Why are certain people allowed to hijack the entire discussion just to turn it into some weird psychoanalysis session that has absolutely nothing to do with the original topic?

Look, if we’re going to broaden the scope this much—if we’re going to write about every single thing remotely connected to infidelity, debating whether it's a sin or not, whether the people involved are good or bad, blah blah blah—then why on earth am I being blocked from posting my own perspective on the matter?

There’s way too much subjectivity and not nearly enough objectivity here; everything just devolves into anonymous whining. You aren't even allowed to know who got flagged or what kind of punishment they actually received.
The moderators are clearly tight with certain users on this forum.
Chatova shows up in every single thread, sometimes more than others. This is supposed to be a conversation, and let's be honest, it's almost impossible to maintain that without constantly tripping over rigid, stifling rules.
Some people get slapped with penalties just because a moderator doesn't like them—can you believe that? They cite "their writing style" as a reason to hand out a ban.
And don't even get me started on how these moderators handle criticism; they can't take it, so they just go on the offensive to protect themselves.

It isn't "beneath" me to report posts; I just didn't feel like wasting my damn time doing it. It didn't seem important to me.
And frankly, it's cowardly.

I locked that thread because it devolved into pure spam and a chaotic chat room, and because the participants showed they had no intention of stopping the spam, even after warnings and mass deletions. Any thread that loses its purpose like that is getting locked.

You all know perfectly well that this song is a provocation aimed directly at me, especially since the comment attached to it was "the best way to catch Dedach." For context, Dedach is the guy from my thread "He's married, I'm married..." It has absolutely nothing to do with sex music. Unless that girl is picturing me while she's in bed, then sure, it's about sex. 😁
And over in the off-topic chat, specifically threads 1 through 4, she and harderfaster were dropping Pokémon images alongside comments like "she's not just stupid, she's crazy..."

You need to look at the big picture here. You have to connect the dots between all these different things.
I get that you don't want to deal with the friction between users, but on the flip side, you won't let us settle things ourselves either; instead, you insist on this whole "report the post" bureaucracy.

So why on earth are you allowing this one user, nausikaja123, to run wild day after day? The constant insults, the humiliation, the mockery—why is this being tolerated?
It was because of her relentless spamming and verbal abuse that my thread, "He’s married, I’m married...", got shut down. This woman was nothing but a provocateur, and when a few of us finally stood our ground and pushed back against her nonsense, what happened? You locked the thread, effectively punishing me and everyone else who actually had the guts to answer her. She just couldn't handle someone else being the center of attention, so she kept throwing around words like "desperate" just to get under my skin. And it wasn't just me; Joshua earned that same label multiple times too. It's hilarious watching this self-righteous saint criticize a wannabe cheater—which is exactly what I am, and something I don't even hide on this site.
People actually tried to step in; several users reached out to her, both directly and indirectly, telling her to leave me alone (Joshua, Sinatra, Justforfun...).

So, you closed the thread citing "spam." But did you penalize her for the actual insults? And don't you dare try to tell me it doesn't concern me. It concerns me deeply if I'm the one being targeted by her vitriol.

And it didn't stop there. Even after the thread was locked, she wouldn't quit.
She was tearing people apart in the Chat—calling people "lost souls," saying things like, "not only am I stupid, but I'm crazy too..." But that wasn't even the peak. Your own moderator, Eowyn FTW, was right there in the chat, and she didn't even bother deleting that post until it was officially reported. Was nausikaja123 punished for that? Did she face any consequences for calling me stupid and crazy? Or did she walk away scot-free? And why didn't the moderator intervene before a report was even filed?
I deserve an answer to that.

Then there are the provocations over on Lies, specifically in the "Best Sex Music" thread, where she posts some Pokémon song with a comment like, "The best way to catch Dedach (grandpa)." Again, it's aimed at me. Did you sanction that? Is that supposed to be sex music? Isn't that clearly OffTopic? I realize she probably hates me and my thread because she can't vent her frustrations anymore, but how much longer are you going to tolerate this? Where do you draw the line? How many little jabs can one person throw before they actually face repercussions?
The other day, she's on ŽUD in a thread titled "Should we let him go?", calling a fellow member a "psychiatric patient." I see she got a warning for that. Seriously? Isn't that grounds for a ban? That is straight-up harassment.

Then I see that Johabi, who spent the whole time defending themselves—perhaps more aggressively than me or anyone else—gets banned. Meanwhile, Mrs. nausikaja123 gets absolutely nothing.

How is that even possible, I ask you? I want an explanation. Thanks.

Those old ladies weren't insulting anyone? As far as I can recall—and I don't remember things quite as "precisely" as the person writing above—I haven't insulted a single soul.
I was the one being insulted, and I did a pretty damn good job defending myself.
Those old ladies were the ones trolling. But when they troll, it's just a joke to them, right? But the second anyone else trolls, suddenly it's a violation of the forum rules.

The truth is, this thread was huge. It had massive engagement because of everyone involved. It was fun and lighthearted, no matter how hard some people tried to wreck it.
They didn't wreck it; they just shut it down.

Maybe there's a lesson in knowing when to walk away, knowing when to stop while you're still ahead...
But reading through someone else's nonsense just so you can report them and get them banned...

Actually, I'm heading to the library today to drop off a book because it was boring as hell. Time to find something new.
