I’ve got a top-tier mattress and an orthopedic pillow, but I’ve only ever been to a chiropractor once—and that wasn't even for this issue. Honestly, I just couldn't shake the anxiety and stay relaxed during the session. So, I'm sticking to standard massages for now. We'll see how things go; if this doesn't work, maybe I'll finally man up and give a chiropractor another shot.
I think we can finally put this disastrous—and honestly, probably fake—thread to bed. Morgan Johnson4 didn't even bother to chime in until gentlecanyon92 suggested it was likely a guy, and then she just used that to drag the argument out even longer. I’ve suspected this whole thing was just some kind of joke from the start, and this pretty much confirms it.
I gave birth about 10 months ago. Right after delivery, my shoulder blades were killing me, especially when I tried to sleep. That lasted a few months before the pain migrated to the rest of my back—again, only while sleeping. During the day, while I'm busy working and moving around, I barely feel anything, maybe just a bit of heaviness in my back. I’ve tried Pilates and massage therapy. They help a little, but they aren't fixing the root of it.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Is there an end in sight? I really don't want to deal with doctors right now.
I think this change has actually been a step in the right direction, so I don't see why you're stressing. Just keep doing what makes you happy. If you feel like you're going a bit overboard with something, maybe just pump the brakes so you don't end up making a massive mistake you'll regret later. Don't look at everything that happened before as some debt you have to pay back; that was just a chapter of your life that's over now (clearly you had to move past it for a reason). Now, just ENJOY yourself without overdoing anything.
