There's an option in Vicksburg ☕ - and honestly, you're better off keeping it turned off because it's completely useless ☕

With Internet Explorer 8, I find myself jumping between Firefox and Opera just as much. Honestly, though, I prefer Opera. It has all these little details that you don't even notice at first glance.

On my phone, I usually stick to Opera Mobile or maybe Pocket IE.

When I'm on my Mac, Linux, or BSD, it’s mostly Firefox for me, followed by Opera—Opera just doesn't feel quite right on those systems. I can't stand Safari or Epiphany, and Konqueror is hit or miss.

Oh, and one more thing. Links is a must-have. 😁

Kyle Scott10 said:My sister had her wedding there about two months ago, and a close friend of mine held her big event in Holy Cross just last month.
They both spoke very highly of it.
Though, I suppose you really need to book them way in advance if you want a spot.

I think they start taking deposits around November for weddings happening next September.😉

aha, got it, thanks 👍

Alright guys, let's keep it chill, no need to fight 😁

From what I can tell—and honestly, I might be getting my math mixed up since I'm turning 38 now and will be 42 by next year🤷—she’ll actually be starting ninth grade next year.

Wait, did I even watch this series before?! 🤷

To be honest, I actually caught a few minutes of it just a couple of days ago 🙂

So, what’s the vibe like at Holy Cross on a boat? Does anyone know if it's actually a good spot to host a party? I'm curious about the prices, the service, and the overall atmosphere—is it worth checking out or should I skip it?
I was scrolling through some photos online and it looks stunning. Has anyone here actually been there and can share their experience? 🙂
I actually already got the scoop on $8.25, but thanks anyway! 🙂

I don't really like listening to myself, but I sound just like my sister 😬 and people constantly mistake us for each other over the phone 🤷

I just don't have a unique voice 😢

just Opera🙂
Does anyone happen to know roughly how much shipping will cost to Switzerland? I'm sending out a package, and I'm not sure if I should send it via certified mail or just standard—though I'm guessing certified is probably the way to go? 😬

Ronald Allen said:Yeah, okay, sure, but she's basically just assuming you have a foreign currency checking account open (not some weird business account thing).

The card I'm using is exactly the same as the one in the link I shared. Honestly, the specifics of my setup don't even matter that much anymore—the most important thing is that we were able to step up and help Laura Bailey3.

And that’s why people keep telling me I sound like some little kid 🙂 🙈

Since that’s how we've always heard ourselves—and since we've basically built part of our identity around that internal sound—it feels totally surreal when you finally hear what you actually sound like to everyone else, rather than hearing it through bone, tissue, fluids, and those little air pockets in your skull. I think for most people, that sensation is so jarring it actually makes them feel self-conscious.

Exactly.
I wouldn't say I'm embarrassed, but man, it is just so, so weird. 😁
And then people have the nerve to tell me I have a nice voice! 😵

Microsoft - this is an internationally recognized debit card linked directly to a foreign currency account at JPMorgan Chase.

I guess I'm just saying... it’s about housing. It’s about where you live. People need places to stay, right? But honestly, the whole situation feels totally broken. Maybe it's just me, but it's frustrating as hell. kaže:
Foreign currency accounts. Seriously. So, I've got it, but... I don't actually have a business license or an LLC set up or anything. I guess. 🙂

🙂

How on earth did you pull that off?! Seriously, what kind of trick was that? 🤔
Because I know they don't just let regular people open those kinds of accounts out of nowhere. 🤷

So, uh, you got some apartments you're renting out or something like that?

Back when I turned 18, I opened both my USD and foreign currency accounts without any hassle—paid the $13 fee and just waited for the cards to show up in the mail. I signed up for Online banking back then too. It wasn't until recently that I actually needed a checking account; I didn't have much use for one before.

I don't own any apartments or run a business or anything.

Foreign currency checking account - I have one, but I don't have a registered business or an LLC 🙂

I don't listen to either of them, but there's really no debate when it comes to Tony's talent. He was never as unpolished as MPT; he's actually a trained musician (unlike MPT).

so, I just turned 18, but I'm not currently working or receiving any kind of monthly income
is it actually possible for me to open my own checking account, and if so, what does the process look like? How long does it usually take to get everything set up?

Your best bet is to head over to JPMorgan Chase. You can set up both a domestic dollar account and a foreign currency account—for each one, you'll get a $6.75 Visa Electron card with a PIN. There's also the option to open a standard checking account where you'd receive a Maestro card. All of these cards will work perfectly fine at any ATM.

hollowseal17 said:Of course you can. There’s no waiting period; it’s handled on the spot. You just need to bring your state ID and something with your Social Security number. Just a word of advice before you commit: make sure you actually want a basic savings account rather than a standard checking account. A simple savings account doesn't come with a debit card, and the IRS can see everything moving through it. A checking account, however, offers more privacy from the tax man, comes with a debit card, and generally gives you more flexibility.

What do you mean, "how is that possible"?! I’ve got a checking account and a debit card that works perfectly fine for hitting up ATMs and shopping online.
