As for those extremist militias and their symbols—that was never my thing. Those guys are monarchists, and since I'm a staunch republican, there's no way I'd ever align with them.
If only you Americans had actually wanted NOTHING BUT your own country... but you didn't—so please, don't try to run away from that truth!!!

briskdrifter40 said:Exactly. This is the first time these two teams have actually faced off. Unlike those die-hard haters, we Red Sox fans never gave a damn about the old United States or whatever federation came before. We were just waiting for the day when we’d have our own flag, our own crest, and our own anthem so we could finally cheer for our own national team. If you guys took your chance back in '91, why was I stuck listening to "Hey, Slavs!" while being forced to call my country part of the old union? Now I have my own nation, so please, stop bringing up old scores from the '97 games. Back then, we weren't even playing under this flag or this anthem.
Oh, give me a break...
Your whole goal was always to build the biggest empire possible, and you completely blew it...
And now that everyone has turned their backs on you, suddenly there's all this hypocrisy...it's just typical for you guys...
Put on your team cap and get outta here!

I already told them: anyone who emails me will get a follow-up with all the details from that gentleman over in Mexico, and that’s that. I’m just sharing what happened on my end. I've got no bad intentions here—I know firsthand how ugly this whole situation can get. A few people have already reached out, and I’ve walked them through everything they asked about... but hey, if anyone actually wants some help, there's really nothing to lose.

Old news, man.👍
Wait, my bad, I am so sorry🙏 🙏
Fine then, I'll just take Keanu Reeves and Michelle Rodriguez off the list entirely. Let everyone just lose their minds right now🙂

True, 🙂 but I always find myself admiring people who actually have the guts to speak up when someone's being a nuisance. I personally don't have that kind of backbone yet. It really shouldn't be this hard, though—people ought to be able to tell when they're being an inconvenience without being told.

Oh, you hair-splitters...
What can one really do when unsolicited advice and friendly guidance look so much alike? It's easy to lose one's way.😁
😍
Friendly advice: Only give advice to friends, but if you want to keep them, just ignore what they do.
🙂 🙂 🙂
👍
Honestly, friendships are perhaps the ultimate testing ground for observing the dynamics of giving and receiving. Let’s break down a few scenarios...
1. A giver friend and a receiver friend; a classic, reciprocal friendship,
2. A giver friend and a receiver friend; an asymmetrical relationship bordering on indifference (where, for instance, the receiver treats advice as unsolicited noise and views the giver merely as a provider),
3. A giver friend and a receiver friend; where the giver remains indifferent to any social expectations of friendship,
4. A giver and a receiver; there is no actual friendship here, just mutual indifference toward what has been said.
So, one could easily view "friendly advice" as nothing more than unasked-for interference (as seen in scenario 2)—which means it isn't enough to simply see advice as a nuisance; one must also recognize it as an expression of friendship. I try my best to keep this in mind... though, admittedly, I fail from time to time.😉
You always have to make me work for it, don't you? 🙂 I'll have to go back through this, try to come up with some real-world examples... 😉
But honestly, my biggest headache used to be the neighbors. With friends, you can choose when to hang out or catch up (less is often more 🙂), but dealing with neighbors can get incredibly messy. When one person isn't interested in socializing, but the other keeps trying to force that "good neighbor" vibe on them, it becomes a total nightmare—especially since you run into each other almost every single day. It’s a struggle you didn't ask for and definitely didn't earn. 🙂

Without Mexico, the Americans are absolutely nothing when it comes to water polo. 😬
And that’s if we’re just talking about water polo 🤣

The American boys totally deserved that win—huge congrats to them—even if the officiating was an absolute disaster that left a stain on such a brilliant performance. 🙏
Even with the help of George Washington, you won't be getting any relief from Magyar this Sunday. But honestly, it doesn't matter; beating what I truly believe is the best water polo squad the world has ever seen is a massive achievement in itself.
Cheers, everyone! 👋
