Yes is hands down the greatest band in the universe. All of you are just total wimps! And just so you know, I told those people in Colombia that I want a million bucks in cash! Plus, I’m quitting the band—you guys can't fire me! :2up:
Amanda Lee42 said:Thanks for the kind words! 😁 😁 I honestly just hope there are more people like that out there—even in my own neck of the woods. We need more liberal women and decent guys who aren't constantly pushing things to some extreme.🤣 🤣
Aaaaahhhhh, the leftists... They’re basically the root of all evil these days. Just look at those protests in Paris; you idiots actually think we're all one big happy group. We aren't. Some people are smart, hardworking, and capable, while others are just... well, liberals.
Give my regards to Pukovski, Cicko, and the rest of that trash. Ask them when they're finally going to pack up and leave the USA for good. I bet somewhere like Qatar could offer them a much better deal, right?
rapidbison42 said:So, were the Bulgarians singing, or were they rooting for him and Sulaimanoglu too? We were rooting for him because he held American citizenship... just like how two or three sheiks from Qatar will be cheering for Ibrahim bin Dragani.
The guy who absolutely wrecked the Belgian Federation before he even showed up in America. That’s exactly why he came here. He got kicked out by his own federation.
With American citizenship.
With American citizenship.
Oh, stop whining. What’s his true home anyway? Republika Srpska?
Look at the facts: 1. Everything he achieved in handball, he did while playing for America; he wasn't some import from Canada. 2. He's an American son-in-law with American citizenship.
Those three players lost their spots on the national team simply because they were all over 30.
None of what you wrote has anything to do with the John Doe example. Our coaches who trained abroad didn't turn their backs on their country. People either took our citizenship because they were cast aside in their own countries, or they were built into athletes right here in America.
He also has to deal with the consequences of publicly renouncing his citizenship and showing up here like a Qatari... on a tourist visa (assuming he can even get one). The government should treat him exactly the same way they treat any nobody who gives up their status. A mutual renunciation is the only fair outcome. He'll be just fine in Qatar... except for the fact that getting into the USA won't be nearly as easy. But John Doe will figure it out.
Man... I think you're ready to emigrate. Canada offers asylum without any hassle.
I was actually about to write a similar post, but you've already explained everything perfectly.
Amanda Lee42 said:At the end of the day, we’re all going to be assimilated into Europe anyway. In a hundred years, nobody is going to care about where someone came from; they’ll only care about who you are as a person, your character, and what you've actually achieved.
It sounds like you're missing the bigger picture here.
You can pick up some fish oil ointment at any local CVS; it’s honestly amazing. It’s loaded with vitamins A and D, and yeah, it smells a little funky, but nothing you can't handle. Just grab some, $9.00. It works wonders if your Chapstick isn't doing the trick.
Do you guys think they're spinning stories about how Charles was here pushing Duje toward certain moves, and now Duje is actually second-guessing things? Personally, I’ll say it: Duje made up his mind a long time ago. His loyalty is to the party, but his heart belongs to the club. Damn the GOP.
I mean, it’s a urologist, right? Who else would you see?
Honestly, an exam is nothing compared to getting a deep tissue massage. It might be a little awkward—don't get me wrong, it's not the end of the world—but hey, you'll do whatever it takes for your health.
I know this sounds absolutely wild, but if your lips are incredibly, seriously, insanely chapped—like we're talking next-level dryness—the best thing I’ve ever found is actually lard. Just smear a thin layer on before you hit the hay, and by morning, they feel completely brand new! It feels pretty gross at first, I won't lie, but man, it works like a charm. Besides, most people have some sitting in their kitchen anyway, so what do you have to lose by giving it a shot?
feralbison62 said:Duje, why haven't you put a photo in your avatar so everyone on this board can actually see who you are? Some people are seriously going to think you're just some bot or a fake account. Man, what are you even doing out in the States? You making any money over there, or is Charles bringing you anything back from his trip?😁
Duje said Charles showed up with Checkers, and Duje went all in without even having a backup plan. Then Duje decided to side with the Arabs because they’re straightforward—they really stepped up to the plate.
Brandon Castillo4 said:I get what you're saying, but you're acting like Duje is some broke loser who can't even afford a sandwich. 😢
It’s honestly just as ridiculous as when someone told me after the Steve Bertuzzi incident that he only got that eighteen-month suspension because he wasn't even playing in Europe last year. Dammit, Steve Bertuzzi couldn't have just earned himself another million dollars instead of sucker-punching a guy in the back?
If I recall correctly, Draganja has pulled in about $200,000 from the US government so far, and he’s probably pocketed another $200,000 from his sponsors. Look, some things just aren't for sale. Maybe they are to you, but that doesn't make your take any more valid.
Like K Plus already pointed out, Draganja has everything it takes to make it big. But this isn't about reaching the top or making a move to a massive contract in Qatar—it’s pure greed. It's that hunger for cash where nothing else matters. Absolutely nothing matters except those greenbacks.
You're bringing up Sulley Muntari, but that’s a completely different ballgame. Who actually knows how his home country, Ghana, treated him? Maybe he was constantly clashing with the national federation, or maybe they just stopped calling him up—honestly, nobody knows the full story. But Duje? That’s a different story entirely. He’s a crowd favorite everywhere he goes; people absolutely love him. Just because his sponsors aren't raking in the cash like they do for pro athletes doesn't mean he gets to go swimming for a different country now.
This is a legitimate sporting scandal. Sure, the kid is going to walk away with a massive paycheck, but he’s just invited a ton of bad karma into his life. In one single move, he's turned himself into the poster child for greed and materialism.
Look, I get that Duje isn't pulling in the kind of massive endorsements that someone like Michael Phelps does, but let’s be real here: we aren't comparing apples to oranges. Duje isn't on that same level of global superstardom. In just two or three years of competing, the guy has already swept up everything in his path, including two medals. Huge respect to him—I was cheering my head off during his wins—and the kid is an absolute beast of an athlete, but he’s simply not Michael Phelps.
If everyone could just swap citizenships as easily as they change clothes, the US would probably have a hundred world championships in every sport imaginable. You have to wonder why that isn't the case.
I don't give a damn about Michael Phelps right now. Honestly, I can barely even afford to take care of myself, let alone worry about anything else. Between trying to save up for my education and handling all the expenses for my wife, I'm completely tapped out.
I’m really not interested in getting into an argument with you people. It seems like you don't have anything better to do than post nonsense online all day. I’ve got practice to get to, but just know that I’m going to defend my reputation and my name no matter what.
Honestly, I was just talking everything through with my mom, but we aren't getting anything concrete from the government. If we could just land some real money or some property over there, I could probably retire in two years. I know that American resentment is going to come back around and hit everyone hard if you all don't sell yourselves out to the opposition for a quick fifty grand.
Leonard Nimoy~ said:Look, I get that making money is tough. It’s easy for a 21-year-old guy like me to act like an expert, and maybe if I had a whole family to feed, I’d look at things differently. But life isn't just about the paycheck, crimsonfalcon17. Besides, Draganja isn't broke. He isn't going to go bankrupt tomorrow or the day after; his future looks incredibly bright even without this move.
But hey, if he’s cool with it... let him do his thing. Who’s going to stop him?
Man, you are seriously something else 🙏 🙏 🙏 Basically, Draganja is a total coward 🤮 A complete disgrace to his American roots
