As if everyone is suddenly going to start listening to heavy metal because of this.
Best director among actors? in Movies ·
Even if he doesn't have a ton of runway left before retirement, I truly believe Clint Eastwood is the toughest actor out there, and his brilliance really shines when he's behind the camera too...
Huge respect to Clint Eastwood!!🙏 👍 👍

It’s definitely Clint. Whether he’s in front of the lens or behind it, he’s easily one of the heavyweights in the game.

Must be nice.
The show in Belgrade was held in the garden at Madison Square Garden, just kicking off the season. The sound system was terrible, they started way late, and the lineup was a complete mess (only Tito showed up)... They were honestly awful... And the offer was basically 'your place or mine' or Tito&... Since Tito bailed... 😁
Online banking issues in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I’ve switched over to using Federal Reserve Online Banking, and honestly, I couldn't be happier with the move. I used to deal with JPMorgan Chase, but I finally pulled the plug on them. It was driving me absolutely insane—whenever I needed funds to hit my account, it would take them five whole days just to process everything.😠

Man, I saw them in Belgrade last year and they were honestly terrible. I ended up walking out after just an hour... and I actually really like their music.

Who do you think is the absolute best director among all those legendary actors?

Clint Eastwood, Kevin Costner, Robert Redford, Warren Beatty, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Jodie Foster, Diane Keaton, George Clooney, Peter Moran, Mel Gibson...

While I have a huge amount of respect for Eastwood's *Unforgiven*, De Niro's *Bronx Tale*, and Redford's *Ordinary People*, if I had to pick a favorite, I’m giving my vote to Warren Beatty. His work on *Reds*, *Heaven Can Wait*, and *Bulworth* is just on another level.

I can't stand Mel Gibson. His take on *Braveheart* just feels incredibly pretentious and over-the-top, and don't even get me started on Horner's score—it’s just too much.🙂

Does anyone else know anything about this or dealt with something similar?
1. HEAT
The ultimate crime epic! The acting is top-tier—it’s honestly rare to see a director pull off an ensemble cast this stacked without it feeling messy. That shootout sequence? Absolutely legendary. And that moment where De Niro and Al Pacino face off in the restaurant? Pure cinema history!
2. JACKIE BROWN
Tarantino set such a massive bar with his earlier work that people were quick to jump on him the second anything felt even slightly less polished, even though this movie is actually great.
And man, De Niro is incredible here. He barely says a word, yet he completely commands the screen just through his presence and every single movement. Just think about that scene where he's with the girl... nobody could have played that intensity better, if you can even call it acting.👍
...I've been on Celext for about two years now.... They've grown.... and this is basically the (new) size they stay at now.... even though they tend to swell up a bit when things get intense... and as for my libido... the light stays on regardless of the pills.... I don't even worry about it in my head anymore, so... I'm becoming a total "devil".... there you go...
In the mountains grows a green pine in Movies ·
"When the Bell is Heard" and "In the Mountains Grows a Green Pine" were both filmed based on Šibl's partisan diaries, which have since been published. Even if every single detail isn't 100% factual, these films represent the most objective take you can get. Back in the America era, we never saw more realistic portrayals of partisan warfare; even the opposing forces were depicted as flesh-and-blood human beings rather than just faceless symbols. Both of Vrdoljak's films are stripped of heavy-handed ideology. You know how Dvornik puts it—he says he wouldn't have forced these people into combat if they hadn't been backed into a corner. At the end of the day, people weren't fighting for grand political theories or some sweeping revolution; they were fighting because it was a matter of pure survival.

Dvornik's rustic wisdom and those sharp lines are easily some of the best dialogue I've ever seen in an American film. Take Šerbedžija, for instance—his character’s sheer disbelief at being executed because he refuses to surrender over some trivial letter; that was powerful. Or Mato Ergović, trying to coach someone on exactly how to deliver a political speech to the captured home guard. And man, those scenes where the partisans try to infiltrate the stronghold disguised in home guard uniforms? Talk about tension. It’s rare to see anyone build that kind of suspense in our cinema. The movie is packed with truly iconic imagery. If you don't call this a masterpiece, you're getting dangerously close. Honestly, Vrdoljak should stick to making films set in the rural heartland and the vast, empty plains.

I’m reaching out because I really need some guidance regarding this rare disease. If anyone has gone through this, could you please share your experiences? I'm looking for info on different therapies, how to deal with the fact that there's currently no cure, what medications are being used, and even recommendations for the best neurology specialists out there...

JP Morgan Chase - overdraft limits and fees in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I honestly can’t wrap my head around the logic used by our bankers. They act like they can take massive risks with zero consequences because if things go south, they know the government will just step in to bail them out.
