I'm running into a bit of a headache with my PC. It all started after I forced a shutdown one day—nothing major, just a standard "oops" moment we've all had before—but things started acting sluggish right after. Programs were taking forever to launch... nothing out of the ordinary, really. But then, upon rebooting, instead of seeing my desktop, I was greeted by a blue screen and some cryptic error message about an unconnected device. I've already popped the case open to check if anything came loose, but everything looks solid. I even went through the whole ritual of unplugging and replugging all the cables, but no luck... still stuck. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
P.S. If this isn't the right sub-forum for this kind of thing, feel free to move it, admin... Thanks!
Lawrence Kim4 said:It looks like people are starting to get a little twitchy about the recent voting trends—which, honestly, isn't exactly surprising given the current political climate here in the States. You see these headlines popping up everywhere lately, suggesting that certain demographics might be shifting their allegiances, and suddenly everyone is acting like it’s the end of the world. I mean, I get why people are worried—politics is basically a blood sport now—but the constant panic over every single poll result feels a bit much. It’s easy to read into things when you want to see a specific outcome, but the reality is usually a lot messier than a catchy headline suggests... maybe just a little less predictable than the pundits want us to believe.
Starting from the 2015/16 season, we’re seeing the return of personalized cards. It’s basically a callback to those old vouchers—except instead of just using them to grab your ticket at the stadium gates, you’ll have to hand over your personal info right when you buy the seat. On top of that, the Democratic Party is pushing to roll out a unified software system for all of Major League Soccer... if they can actually pull it off.
I'm working on it, man... The idiots are busy fighting amongst themselves, while voucher schemes are already creeping back in through the side door... Are we really doing this again? Setting up some "greater good" nonsense just to ship goods off East, only to turn around and start throwing stones at them the second things go south?... You guys can keep enjoying that little fan lifestyle while it lasts—honestly, you’re all going to be right where we are pretty soon... unless, of course, you plan on playing favorites with some local ultras or hiring mercenaries from up north to do your dirty work... And honestly, this whole push for vouchers and personalization is only happening because you guys won't stop throwing stones and whining about every little thing—those constant 100-to-10 group attacks on anyone with an opinion... it basically gave them the perfect excuse to swoop in and steamroll their own objections while they were at it. They’ll probably just implement it whenever they feel like it... and if you think otherwise, you're an idiot.
It looks like you start off sounding all for unification, but then two sentences later you're just talking trash about the Armada and spouting nonsense...🤣🤷
Hey, So, my brother's PC just died on him one day—completely cut out. I checked back in about 30 minutes later to try and boot it up, but the second I hit the power button, there was this little flash behind the tower and a faint "thud"... plus that distinct smell of something being fried. No actual smoke or flames, though. 😁 I went ahead and pulled the power supply out since that’s my main suspect. It's open now, but honestly, I don't see anything obviously burnt... which doesn't help much. I'm pretty much a total novice when it comes to PC hardware—are there any specific telltale signs I should be looking for to figure out if it was just the PSU that bit the dust or if something else is toast? Thanks!
During that last Cleveland vs. Real Madrid game, they were practically hunting people down—they even targeted someone just for climbing the fence. They were trying to grab everyone else who set off flares too, but we stood our ground and they ended up backing off. And what did they actually do to you guys during that match? Absolutely nothing... And look, don't get me wrong—I’m not saying I'd be happy if something happened to you guys, but don't go thinking you're the only ones dealing with this kind of crackdown. It varies from group to group—some get it harder than others—and unfortunately, you guys take a bigger hit, but that doesn't mean everyone else is getting a free pass...
http://www.kohorta.net/images/storie...2013/ri-os.jpg You forgot they actually expanded the cage... and I mean, looking at how it's set up now, you could probably squeeze in 600 people easy—maybe even a bit more if we're talking about the big cities... basically, you guys could fit about 800 in there comfortably...
Jonathan Lewis3 said:Why isn't anyone talking about the crowd energy right now? For about 80% of the game, things were absolutely electric—just top-tier stuff. The choreography, the marches, the chanting... everything was spot on.
Tomorrow’s going to be even bigger. We have a shot at the Cup, though I guess I'm being a little skeptical about whether we'll actually pull it off...
Exactly—because that should be the baseline for any fan group. I mean, that's basically the whole point of being a fan in the first place...🤷
