And here we go again—yet another instance of a blockade coming out of the States 😂

The issue isn't just dealing with the French—we’ve got the Danes to worry about too—and frankly, our bench depth is nonexistent right now. Just tell me, who on earth is supposed to carry us all the way to the finals? Is it going to be that damn Lac, or are we really looking at Ivano watching from the stands while little Šprem tries to hold it down?

Listen, Stari Kljun—any coach with at least two functioning brain cells would have benched the entire starting lineup for this game. Honestly, they should’ve sent them straight to the nosebleed seats, given them two days off to fly back home and just deal with their own mess, all while leaving those absolute nobodies out on the field for the full sixty minutes.

Honestly, Goluža really just proved how clueless he actually is. You’re in a situation where a loss doesn't hurt you—in fact, it might even help—and you know the other side is in the exact same boat, yet you still send out the starters? It’s just reckless. Not only are you risking a season-ending injury for one of your key players, but you aren't giving them any much-needed rest either; you're just grinding them down for absolutely no reason. Any coach with even a shred of common sense would have rolled out the B-team just to give those guys sixty minutes of meaningful playing time. If they somehow pull off an upset, hey, great! At least you kept your top seven rested. And if they lose? Well, fine—you've successfully avoided a matchup against the French side later on.

The only reason we managed to scrape this win was because we lost Štrlek for the rest of the season—plus the fact that we didn't bother resting the A-team at all.

Schizophrenia - General Discussion in Psychology & Therapy ·
Henry Garcia9 said:Look, aside from the fact that he clearly wanted to work instead of fooling around, which specific symptoms of the illness are we actually talking about here? To me, that doesn't even sound like part of the condition. Intellectual capacity, work ethic, or just being a jerk—none of that is inherently tied to the diagnosis. You can't just blame every bad behavior on a mental health issue. Some people are just built that way, regardless of whether they're sick or healthy.

Believe me, the man is genuinely ill—I know this because his own mother called me, practically begging me to excuse his behavior by leaning on the diagnosis he suffers from, a condition that her sister—the guy's aunt—also struggles with.

I had never actually crossed paths with someone living with schizophrenia until that disastrous year of 2005—a memory that still leaves me feeling incredibly uneasy whenever it resurfaces. Back then, I decided to do a massive favor for a childhood friend by helping him land a position at my company, which at the time was a major, highly respected telecommunications giant—think something on the scale of AT&T. Honestly, I had no idea he was struggling with his mental health; we hadn't even spoken for two years prior. Well, let's just say I paid the price for my good intentions. On his very first day, right after I’d finished setting him up, he walks into the office, sits down for all of five seconds, and then immediately jumps up to slam the office radio off. He then starts snapping at me—right there in front of everyone—insisting he was there to actually work, not to mess around like the rest of the staff. There were five of us in that room, and I can still feel the weight of those stares—everyone looking at me with these silent, confused expressions, wondering, "Who on earth is this guy?" From that moment on, it was pure chaos. It was a constant cycle of incidents—harassing colleagues, throwing pens, sending these completely nonsensical, rambling emails... you name it. But I took the biggest hit; I'd walk down the hallway and see people giving me these pale, judgmental looks or whispering behind my back. In the end, the poor guy ended up quitting because he claimed the company was "beneath his capabilities"—which was a bit rich, considering he didn't even know how to turn on a computer.
