Laura James11 said:I wanted to ask—and I know this question probably gets asked a hundred times—how soon can I actually go out in public after surgery? I haven't been able to find a straight answer anywhere. My surgery is scheduled for October 30th, which is right when my semester starts, and I really can't afford to miss two weeks of classes; that's just too much. :/
Also, seeing how they only have a month wait in San Francisco makes me want to switch, because here in Los Angeles I've already been waiting five months, and I still have that much longer to go. My only real worry is whether someone else might do a better job correcting my nose than the doctor here in LA promised (it's crooked, but he said he could also narrow the tip).

I had surgery for a deviated septum. I had my packing removed on day 6, and I was able to head out in public right after that. I had my procedure done in San Francisco.
Chase Student Starter Pack in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Gregory Ruiz2 said:Just trying to make sure I actually get how this whole setup works with the Student of the University of Michigan card and that entire JPMorgan Chase student package. So, if I open this, I’m looking at getting $333 overdraft protection on my checking account and $667 on that American card, right? And I get the online banking and all that junk too... they charge me $1.75 for all of it? Also, I need to pick up some stuff soon that'll probably run me about $333 total (I could buy things one by one, but that’d take forever). Like, say I go into a store that offers up to 12 monthly installments on an American card, I buy what I need, and they just split that $333 into 12 payments, which would be roughly $28 a month. Does that mean I really only need to have $33 sitting in my checking account each month? And that's basically it? No interest or any other bullshit?

That is exactly it.
2014 Monaco Grand Prix Recap & Discussion in Formula 1 ·
Am I really the only one who thinks Lewis Hamilton might actually be right here? Overtaking at the Monaco Grand Prix Circuit is basically impossible, especially when everyone is running identical machinery. To me, Nico Rosberg seems to have that same relentless German mentality that Michael Schumacher had—where the end goal justifies whatever it takes. You only have to look at his facial expression during the national anthem to see it.
