Why on earth do they keep drugging people for days right before surgery? It would be so much more logical if you just showed up, got your meds, and headed into the OR by the second day at the latest. But instead, here in Chicago, they keep you stuck there for days on end, pumping you full of drugs while they lie to your face every single morning, promising that the surgery is finally happening tomorrow.

Honestly, there isn't much difference at all besides the keyboard layout—though from what I've seen, you can pretty much toggle everything over to American settings easily enough. You will definitely need a plug adapter for the US outlets, though, which is probably around $17 better to account for. Just make sure you don't get hit with crazy fees at customs when it arrives!

An Apple device is worth every single penny.
