Props to the players for grabbing medals, though they should probably thank the coach-prophet for settling for bronze instead of gold.

Stevanović and Horvat killing it again. Remind me, who exactly was starting against Spain at those positions? ☕
"Strategy doesn't matter; it's all about heart."

That right there sums up why 99% of American coaches are basically useless in any team sport.

I'll only buy that "we're exhausted, we can't go on" excuse if you say it BEFORE the game starts and basically admit you're probably gonna choke.

Anything else is just some middle school drama.

It won't be like the France game. There's this weird mental block that hits them the second they see France on the schedule—it's like some unexplainable psychological glitch that only happens with those guys.

Worst case scenario? Something like the Norway game, losing by maybe 2 or 3 points.

Honestly, Spain doesn't look that intimidating to me, especially with their perimeter shooting. If we can shut down their wings, we should be able to find plenty of openings.

Basically, it's just a way to say goodbye to German dominance and hello to Turkish influence taking over instead...

Maybe they'd be down to take in Turkey if Northern Kurdistan wasn't part of the deal. But since the Turks are clinging to that land like a drunk clings to a lamp post, they aren't budging...
The fact that a society like that ended up sitting on all that black gold is the biggest cosmic joke ever.

Two dead at an IKEA in Sweden

The BBC is reporting that two people were killed and one was seriously injured during a stabbing at an IKEA in Sweden.

Police say a man and a woman were stabbed to death, and they've already got a suspect in custody. Apparently, the attack went down right in the kitchenware aisle.

According to local TV news, a 35-year-old man is also fighting for his life. "He was rushed from the scene with life-threatening injuries," Lena moriti, a nurse on duty at a hospital in Västerås—which is about 70 miles outside of Stockholm—told the local news.

Nobody knows what the motive was yet.

A tiny nation in East Africa is teetering on the edge of full-blown war after months of unrest, political crackdowns, and straight-up intimidation. Since April, over 150,000 people have already fled into neighboring Rwanda.

I’m noticing our mainstream news outlets aren't even giving this much coverage.

Here’s a report from VICE News covering the situation—looks like they'll be following this one closely.
So what now? Elections are wrapped up in the US and over in Israel too. Does any of this actually stop Benjamin Netanyahu from making an attack on Iran his top priority?
