To be honest, I wouldn't even go if they didn't offer fructose-free options; since my partner is diabetic, whenever I don't feel like baking from scratch, I'll pop in to grab something for him. They look beautiful, but in my opinion, the flavor is pretty much the same across the board. Personally, I wouldn't recommend them, but of course, it’s entirely up to you and your own preference.😉
I’m over in the downtown area, so I pass Charlotte every single day too... I tried one of their hazelnut cakes once... and seriously, it was incredible, even for someone like me who isn't a huge sweet tooth. Plus, my partner is diabetic too... what a coincidence, right? But thank God he has an insulin pump, so we don't have to stress quite as much about the sugar in desserts...
My problems are actually sorted out now... since the wedding is so tiny, my sisters-in-law and aunts stepped up with their baking skills, so we handled everything within the family... We'll just order a cake somewhere else later because I mmmust have one with that smooth glaze... that's my one big wish...
Taylor Swift, you'd be laughing your head off if you heard me screaming my lungs out coming out of the maternity ward at the Holy Spirit back in my sixth month... hehe...
Thanks for all the advice, everyone!
