I’ve been looking at my monthly budget lately, and it feels like we’re just stuck in this weird limbo. It feels like every time we get a tiny bit of breathing room, something else shifts and keeps us pinned to the same spot.
I was talking to a buddy of mine who’s trying to get a new car, and the frustration in his voice was palpable. He’s been waiting for things to "settle down" for months, but it feels like the goalposts just keep moving. It’s hard to make any long-term life decisions—whether it's buying a place or even just scaling up a small business—when the fundamental cost of moving money stays so stubbornly high.
It feels like we're just hovering in this holding pattern where nobody is quite happy, but nobody is quite making a move either. Does anyone else feel like we're just idling in neutral while the rest of the world moves on?
I've got three pairs of toddler girl shoes up for grabs—mostly soft-soled flats/booties.
FRODDO flats, size 20 — pink — $17
FRODDO flats, size 21 — beige — $17
CICIBAN flats, size 21 — lilac — $17
They’ve all been worn, obviously, but honestly? They're in great shape with zero damage or scuffs.

Actually, you could start with a bit more at first, then scale it back down to maybe 2 teaspoons later on. You'll figure out your own sweet spot once you see how your body reacts.
You think that would actually work? I'm going to give it a shot! Thanks!
I’ve been in a coma for about 6 or 7 weeks! (not counting the time I was out of it)
The last 3 weeks have been slightly better, but dealing with my daily bathroom routine—which is a literal necessity at this point—is just pure, unadulterated misery. It's enough to make you cry.
Has anyone else dealt with something this grueling? I’ve tried everything—creams, calendula, olive oil—but nothing seems to touch it...
How can I actually find some relief? 🤷
Once they schedule the scans, does that actually happen on the same day, or is there usually a wait...?
thanks!
So, what actually happens during that first appointment with a hematologist...?
Does anyone have any recommendations for a solid, affordable dentist out in the suburbs near Washington, D.C.?
Thanks so much!

I could really use some help finding a solid ophthalmologist.
I alternate between wearing contacts and glasses (usually when I need a break from the lenses), but since I have astigmatism, it’s been a total nightmare getting my prescription right—for both the glasses and the contacts. They constantly irritate my eyes, get all blurry, and just generally feel uncomfortable.
Who should I see to finally get this sorted out? I need someone who can handle both the full exam and the actual contact lens fitting.
I'm currently in the Chicago area.
Thanks!
...Nothing...?
Hey everyone,
I could really use some advice because I’m on the hunt for a solid ophthalmologist.
To give you some context—I wear both contact lenses and glasses (usually switching to glasses when I need a break from the lenses)—but since I have astigmatism, I’ve been having a nightmare finding a prescription that actually works. It’s frustratingly difficult to get the diopter right for my glasses, let alone my contacts. They constantly irritate my eyes, they slip around, and honestly, it's just a hassle.
Who should I see to finally get this sorted out? I need someone who can handle both the full eye exam and the actual fitting for specialized lenses.
I'm currently based in the Los Angeles area.
Thanks!
Hey guys, where can I pick up a decent cake in the suburbs of Chicago?
