I actually put down the deposit for the subscription box myself. They mentioned they’d take one main break around 3:00 PM, lasting about 15 minutes or so. Other than that, breaks happen whenever the protocol calls for them. Everything is already coordinated, though I'm curious how they managed the timing with those young musicians. Just sit down, have a chat, and be clear about what you want or don't want—no sense in badmouthing the band!

I noticed they were renting out high-top tables over at Vigor the other day... I know people have been asking about them, so just putting it out there for anyone interested! 🙂
I checked with the venue manager, and he told me we could just bring whatever we want without needing any paperwork. It’s funny, because when he's working, he has to have every single receipt accounted for just to make sure his books balance perfectly!
Oh man, I am absolutely loving this... her space was just stunning. I didn't grill her too much, but she did mention they handle all the logistics and delivery. Do you think the pricing is reasonable? I've been looking closely at both her and Iris. Personally, I’m really leaning toward doing draped ceilings—it’s such a huge plus that they offer that. I don't actually need invitations, though, since my bridesmaids have their own printing business and are taking care of that part. 🙂 We actually connected on Facebook, so now I'm diving into all her photos to grab some inspiration! 🙂
I was there too... the Apple booth from Des Moines totally blew me away! I found some wedding bands at the jeweler that had our initials engraved on the outside, and they look so cool. 🙂 Too bad they ran out of those pastries. :-/

Maybe just be a little more firm? Just tell them you expect everything to go smoothly without any awkwardness, and leave it at that. You signed the contract, after all—you know exactly what you're getting!
That’s just one of those little traps right at the entrance to Venice... I wouldn't bother. A friend of mine from Venice mentioned the owner is pretty difficult to deal with and they barely have any work going on there. It was honestly just a headache.

I actually have some info on that... though it really depends on how many people you invite. We checked for a crowd of 450, and it came out to $53 per person (that doesn't include the cocktails or appetizers). If you go with a massive group of up to 700, it's about $43 per person, or roughly $135—so just do the math from there. I think one girl mentioned they were quoted somewhere around $62 for a group of 250 to 300.
Just renting the hall for 450 people goes for $17,500, plus the lunch the next day $500.
Haha, I’ll check out the trade show in Boston to see if they have any good deals running, so I might just ask them when the time comes... though if I need flowers, I'd much rather go to Iris from Ivankov. I follow her on Facebook and really love her style. 🙂
http://www.klara-kotromanovich.com/ - on Strossmayer - right next to Isabelle, and I think there's another salon nearby too - over in County at the intersection of Republic Street https://www.facebook.com/pages/LA-SP...K/439835015561 - La Sposa on Radić Street near the train station, actually just across from the Police Department
Here’s my two cents... just make them yourself! I'd suggest getting the text portion printed since it's embedded, then DIY the rest. If you make one single template using a compass, you can easily trace out all the other semi-circles. You could charge a premium for this! You might want to swing by a Staples to pick up some high-quality paper (I think they have that Galaxy stuff) and handle the production yourself.
