Blonde (2022) in Movies ·
Just finished watching the movie. Scarlett Johansson absolutely nailed her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe. As for the film itself, I found it quite moving; those two and a half hours just flew by.

Jacob Lopez51, do some digging on AAI instability, specifically looking into the work of Ross Hauser and Chris Centen. There is absolutely no chance you’re getting this diagnosis here in the States; the most you can hope for is a referral to a psychiatrist, leaving you to be mismanaged for years on end. Sometimes the issue isn't all in your head—it’s actually in your neck.
An MRI or MRA won't show anything obvious. They need to scan you with your head in different positions; a CT or a specialized MRI setup is best, but finding a facility that performs MRIs with those specific positional adjustments is something you'd typically only find in places like Germany or London. Around here, they'll just send you home and tell you you're crazy.😬
Also, AAI instability can lead to compression of the jugular vein. Have you had an angiography? That's not enough; you need a full venogram running from your neck all the way up to your head.

Jacob Lopez51 said:Yeah. I've seen people on Reddit saying it's a solid product, too.

I’m not jumping on it just yet, since I already take most of these components individually, but honestly, the formula itself is excellent.

Maybe I’ll grab it if I see a good sale down the road.👍

Anyone who still thinks antidepressants actually cure Fibromyalgia, SFN, or MS is living in a complete delusion fueled by brainwashed, low-quality sources.

Managing lifestyle triggers—specifically high glutamate levels through diet and supplementation—is THE KEY. Once you finally pinpoint the actual source of the problem, everything changes.

Certain psychotropic drugs that act similarly to anticonvulsants might be okay for masking symptoms, but they don't touch the root cause. In fact, they're basically designed to trigger rapid tolerance and dependency.

With Fibromyalgia, there are usually three or four potential culprits wrecking the CNS. For most of us, antioxidants are the first line of defense in self-management.

Most people completely overlook the significance of the MTHFR gene mutation, which is the underlying issue for about 70% of cases.
Methylcobalamin (B12), Methylfolate (B9), and small doses of P5P (B6) are the bioavailable forms needed to actually help regenerate nerves and the myelin sheath.
P5P is absolutely critical for the proper absorption of enzymes and amino acids. And those amino acids are vital as precursors to neurotransmitters. Glycine and Taurine are particularly important for the NMDA and GABA receptors.

Study on the use of Alcar and Methylfolate:

🙏 👍
I really appreciate the research and the info you're putting out there.

This looks pretty interesting, and the reviews seem decent enough. My only hesitation is the dosage—it calls for three tablets a day.🙄
Have you given it a shot yet?
Thoughts on Thor: Love and Thunder? in Movies ·
This movie was an absolute joke 😁 Honestly, seeing Zeus strip Thor down was enough to make the whole thing worth watching; otherwise, I’d have been looking for the exit early.😬

Jacob Lopez51 said:I know you're joking, but so many people have a completely skewed perception of lithium because of how toxic psychiatric lithium carbonate can be. Lithium is actually a brain elixir; it helps transport B12 to the brain and impacts all sorts of neurotransmitters, which is a massive benefit.

For me, lithium orotate combined with pregabalin is my primary regimen.

For me, lithium orotate combined with pregabalin is my primary regimen.
It keeps my OCD and bipolar mania—mostly just those shopping sprees, lol—under control.

I’m not misinformed, nor am I joking. I’ve watched plenty of health enthusiasts where doctors promote things like lithium, NAC, and ALA, so everything checks out on my end.😉
Anyone who is actually interested and willing to dig deep enough will find some pretty fascinating information.😁

dustypilot11 said:Mine is just in powder form because I toss it into my smoothies; otherwise, the taste is pretty brutal, if I'm being honest. 😳
I picked some up for preventative measures regarding heart health, right around the time the FDA started making noise about potentially banning it here in the US and when they pulled it from Amazon.
To be fair, I have no clue how much it actually affects me—I’ve never been a naturally anxious person.

🙏 Interesting point, I hadn't realized that, but I'm placing an order today. 😁 Jacob Lopez51 explains the mechanics behind it, so we'll just stick to using it. 🐔

Jacob Lopez51 said:Avoid NAC in powder form at all costs.

I get almost all my supplements from iHerb.
By the way, collagen pairs perfectly with NAC since most collagen is packed with glycine, and when you combine cysteine with glycine, you get glutathione—arguably the most potent antioxidant out there.

This is currently the priciest supplement in my rotation:

The only issue is they've already complained about not having the 5mg lithium in stock, so now I have to hunt it down through international suppliers.

Thanks, Jacob Lopez51, for the insight; you've got me considering lithium now too.😁

Jacob Lopez51 said:Standard doses would be 600mg of ALA and 600mg of NAC.
I haven't experienced any side effects at all.

For me, these supplements/nootropics are absolute essentials.
I take 600mg of NAC from NOW, paired with a decent time-released ALA from Nature's Bounty—though personally, I stick to Doctor's Best 100mg R-ALA twice a day, which brings my total to about 200mg of ALA.

https://www.amazon.com/now-nac-600mg...
https://www.fitness.com/shop/ala-600-mg...

Take the ALA first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and then have the NAC after lunch along with some Vitamin C (like a glass of orange juice).
NAC is great for clearing out your lungs, sinuses, and bronchial tubes... though if you're struggling with congestion, you might experience a bit of coughing at first while everything clears out. Once it does, I felt like I could finally breathe clearly again.

Thanks, Jacob Lopez51. Knowing there aren't any side effects is the main thing for me. I'll probably grab the NOW brand from iHerb. Currently, my stack includes collagen, MSM, a multivitamin, Vitamins C and D, zinc, and omega-3s.😵

dustypilot11 said:A woman your weight could take this at their recommended dose of 500mg. It even comes with a tiny little scoop inside.

Thanks, dear. I'll look into the powder version, though I'm leaning more toward tablets right now.😁 Do you happen to have any experience using NAC?
Thoughts on Thor: Love and Thunder? in Movies ·
I’m counting down the days until September 9th to finally catch this: :teeth: I mean, there's no way it can be a total disaster if Chris Hemsworth is starring in it; at the very least, it'll be easy on the eyes. 😁

Thanks, Jacob Lopez51. Did you run into any side effects from taking NAC or ALA? I’m thinking about starting with a smaller dose since I only weigh about 115 pounds. My teeth are actually in great shape—no fillings or cavities to speak of—so I don't have any issues there, but I’m still a bit hesitant to jump straight into those high doses right away.

I’m looking to start taking NAC and ALA for the first time, but I’m feeling a bit stuck on which brands to actually trust.
What are you all currently using, and more importantly, have you run into any side effects?
Hey everyone! in Banned Users Corner ·
I was wondering if someone could please look into unbanning my account. Just to be clear, I’m not here to get dragged into any arguments or pointless back-and-forth drama; that’s just not my scene. I really just want to be able to contribute to the discussions regarding pregnancy and wellness. I’d truly appreciate it if you could give me another chance.
Best,

Let me be clear.
I am requesting a ban for the longest duration possible, and as far as I’m concerned, you can just lock this thread.
If you aren't willing to grant me a permanent ban, then make it two years—that is the minimum timeframe I am looking for. Anything less isn't worth my time. I have no intention of changing who I am, "fixing" myself, or giving any of you another opportunity to harass me or enjoy yourselves at my expense.

Please go ahead and issue me the longest ban possible. As far as I’m concerned, you can just lock this thread and be done with it.

To be perfectly honest, rustydrifter10, I didn't even finish reading your excuses for the injustice being systematically leveled against me. You’ve clearly put quite a bit of effort into trying to whitewash the situation. Look, I’m certainly not claiming to be a saint, but what you all have been doing to me lately—hand on heart—is just wrong. And you, of course, are more than capable of justifying it by digging up my past mistakes and dragging my statistics through the mud.
I’m asking you, quite simply, to issue a permanent ban or the longest suspension possible. There’s no need for an explanation; I appreciate the effort, but I’m not an idiot. I see exactly what’s playing out here, so please, just do me this one favor.
Don't bother moderating all those posts where people are attacking me in that chat; I truly couldn't care less about them. My only concern is that you do me this one service I'm requesting. Thanks.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, though I don't know what to say... It’s a nice gesture, truly, but it’s pretty obvious the odds are stacked against me here.

It would have been perfectly reasonable if someone had actually explained why I received a partial ban alongside those disputed posts. But when a moderator sends an explanation claiming they issued a penalty based on some vague complaints—without even bothering to read the chat (I’ve already forwarded their "explanation" to upper management)—it stops being moderation and starts feeling like a complete joke and a power trip.
Furthermore, today he ignored several clearly offensive posts (and likely did the same in the past), yet feels perfectly entitled to call me a slur or throw out the insults I listed on the previous page. Those were just a few examples of the endless stream of abuse I’ve dealt with in that chat while everyone else just looks the other way.
I haven't insulted ANYONE in that thread. If I have, then please, step up and report my specific post. Everything directed at me by others was absolutely disgusting, though I do maintain good rapport with most users there. I would truly appreciate it if someone took the time to actually read the logs, but apparently, it's much easier to hand out penalties based on guesswork—after all, others have done it, so why shouldn't he? They don't like me anyway, so who cares if there's no evidence or actual argument behind it? If things are going to be handled this way, then issuing a permanent ban would be the least of his concerns, because honestly, given the sheer amount of toxicity I've endured, I probably deserve one.

stormytiger4 said:My bad, I totally misread you at first. I thought you were calling out the nonsense practice of stacking partial privileges in cases where the user just refuses to admit they're the common denominator in every conflict. But now I see what's actually happening: you're basically begging for permanent status. And if you actually get it—much like how people hunt for specific permissions on specialized platforms—you plan to use it as some sort of shield to claim you weren't the problem all along.

I’m telling rustydrifter10 not to fall for this little game because it’s nothing but manipulation, but rather that they should just grant the permanent status as a way to finally settle the matter after three rounds of partial permissions and the endless friction you've had with both regular users and moderators across various boards.

Fine, let's go with that then. Based on my entire body of work here, I've earned it.

I’m waiting for rustydrifter10 to weigh in. And I expect my permanent ban to be approved.

jadetiger962, handing out partial bans based on reports without actually reading anything—while letting genuine insults slide—is just amateur hour. Seriously, how many people from the recreational leagues have I actually driven away?
The whole situation is a disgrace, and honestly, that’s all I have to say about it.

We’re talking about a chat where even making a crude joke about the moderator's anatomy isn't considered an issue.

And yet, here I am, being the big, toxic 🙂
