It was an excellent film, and honestly, I think it deserved an Oscar nod this year. Meryl Streep is predictably brilliant, and Julia Roberts holds her own just fine without being overshadowed or dulling the performance. It really dives deep into those messy family dynamics, leaving nothing unsaid.
