So, those guys over at the repair shop tried everything under the sun and still came up empty. They’re actually telling me everything looks fine on their end.
But honestly, we all reached the same conclusion: this is definitely a hardware issue.

They're supposed to swap my whole setup out for a different computer soon.
Hey everyone,

NPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION

This issue is driving me absolutely insane, so I figured I’d ask here just in case anyone knows what might be causing this or how to actually fix it.
I bought this computer about four months ago.

Here is the specific model:
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/p...-driver-update

The computer works fine and then just freezes out of nowhere. Sometimes it runs for a few hours, sometimes a few minutes, sometimes it goes two days before it hangs up.
When it freezes, I get this blue screen:

Then the computer restarts. Once it comes back up, it works, but there's no sound.
I see a "No speakers or headphones are plugged in" message on the taskbar icon down at the bottom.

I've been Googling solutions for days, and nothing works.
I took the computer to the service center at the company where I bought it, and I'm literally bringing it back to them for the fifth time now.
-They reinstalled Windows 10 and did a BIOS reset.
-All drivers were reinstalled and updated.
-They reseated the RAM again.
-They tested all my peripherals. I swapped out speakers, mouse, keyboard—they tested everything and claim it's all good.

And yet, the problem keeps coming back.
I'm convinced the machine is defective. Honestly, it feels like there's a manufacturing flaw in this Dell Alienware series.

Some people say the SSD needs replacing, others say it's the motherboard. Some say it's the graphics card. The service techs tell me the graphics card is perfectly fine.

alright, thanks guys.

So, if I’ve got 8 GB of RAM in my PC and I swap out the GPU for something like a GeForce GTX with 4 GB of its own VRAM, would I be totally wrong if I told people I have 12 GB of RAM?
Overdid it while swimming and ended up with tendonitis in my shoulder.
The pain finally subsided, but my right shoulder feels way weaker than my left now. Anyone dealt with this before?

A friend's brother went through the exact same thing. He says he’s been dealing with it for a year already and his shoulder keeps clicking.

Yeah... honestly, I don't think it's even worth the effort anymore.

What about ranching or farming?

You make beef, milk, homemade cheese—you sell it, and people go crazy for it. Americans want real food, not that imported chemical garbage.

Has anyone you know—or maybe even one of you guys—actually ditched the city life for the countryside?

It doesn't have to be about the money or the job market. I'm more curious if there are people who just got completely burnt out by urban living and decided to run off to nature to live with some animals instead.
I'm talking about those folks who don't want to play the social games, deal with the constant grind, or spend their whole lives chasing a paycheck.

What does that kind of life actually look like? Any real stories or advice for someone thinking about making the jump?

Hey,
I’m looking for some insight (ideally from someone who’s actually done this or is currently in the trenches) regarding what this job is really like. Can anyone give me a breakdown?
What are the actual pros and cons?

I’ve got a high school diploma, but my background is completely unrelated to this field. Still, an opportunity just landed on my plate to try it out and see if I actually have what it takes. I know you mostly learn by doing, but I’d love to get a heads-up before I dive in. Any info helps.

Thanks in advance.
X-ray height measurement: Any advice? in Health ·
It matters to me, I guess, but not right this second or at any cost.
That’s really what I’m wondering about—if I can just make this a routine part of my day...
