Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
Jesse Campbell said:That sense of unity sends such a powerful message on its own that everyone picked up on it immediately and started showing respect. In the grand scheme of things, that’s really the most important part of this whole situation.

Some people think fans are only banding together because their pride took a hit. It’s like they're just trying to patch things up after seeing how everyone scrambled to unite once the Russians moved into New York City.
That’s why you see certain segments of the public backing these completely irrational moves now—like this whole voucher situation. Deep down, they know it doesn't make sense and that it's fundamentally flawed, but they're doing it anyway. It feels like they just want to land one final, decisive blow against the hooligans.

How can a street be the father and the Ultras be the mother?

Well, a street is a feminine noun, isn't it?🤷 🤣

And Koch is just Madoff's cook. That's also a feminine noun, even though he's a man.

Anyway, on the day the new kits were unveiled at Fenway Park for the upcoming season, the Red Sox players and coaching staff made a choice: the jersey number representing our home city—number 12—is being retired to honor the "twelfth man," the Black Knights and all the other fans.

🙏👍

That number 12 was handed over to the "twelfth man"—the fans—meaning that this coming season no Red Sox player will be wearing that "retired" number.

Jonathan Lewis3 said:Look, nobody actually said "you won't be allowed in the unit." It was more like they just wouldn't let anyone push through, and then things got heated and people started losing their tempers...

Personally, I think it would have been much better if they had just held up a thousand signs with a decent message explaining why part of the choreography was missing. Wouldn't that have been a much more dignified way to handle it with the police?

A close family friend of mine was actually down at Dodger Stadium with my uncle, standing right there by the streetlights, rooting against Inter Milan. Now, those two have been going through it together lately—they're both doing physical therapy and hitting up the local spas to deal with their aches and pains.

It’s honestly pretty disappointing how you twist my words and spout nonsense, but I’m done engaging with you.
I just don't have the energy to keep bickering here; there are plenty of other threads on the forums where some of you can go vent instead.

So, that’s all I have to say. I’m going to go grab a bite and relax. 😉

p.s. Hajduk Split is sitting at the top of the table, and you can get used to that.

Look, I wasn't the one who went public with his identity. It wasn't just local news outlets; major national news sites all over the country have already published his full name, age, address, and job. So really, I have nothing to do with this.😉

And if I did bring him up, it was only because he was involved in the exact same kind of nonsense. And that's saying something, considering it happened in tennis...

even if the crowd wasn't massive!

What do you mean there wasn't much of a crowd? I distinctly remember it being packed. It was standing room only in the North Stand, so I ended up freezing my head off way up at the top where the casual fans usually sit. Honestly, I’ve never been that cold in my life. That wind was brutal—I was practically frozen solid and couldn't even move until I finally warmed up.😁

PTo me, Zenit Saint Petersburg felt like a much more formidable side than that Roma team. 😉

We aren't even going to get into that one goal. The late A. Dorić was right when he said it—once Fabian laid it off, it was basically written in the stars. You look at the history books with clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, Waregem, Olympique de Marseille, PSV Eindhoven, St. Etienne, Girondins de Bordeaux, Rome, and UC Sampdoria, and it's all just part of that legacy. It's etched in history.

I mean, come on. We’re talking about the Roma that actually won the Serie A title. The team that was absolutely untouchable, wouldn't lose a single match, and didn't concede a goal for ten straight league games. You had Fabio Capello at the helm and Francesco Totti in his absolute prime. How can you even compare them to this?

When it comes to the atmosphere, I find myself looking back on some truly special matches. I still have fond memories of that 3-0 second-leg cup win against the blue Dinamo Chicago, and that intense clash against the yellow Dinamo back in the day. Then, of course, there was that unforgettable game on February 22, 2009, also against the blue Dinamo. Looking at more recent times, the energy during the match against Stoke City was incredible—well, right up until the final whistle, when the east stand just turned into a sea of beer.
Back in 2004, during that final league match against NK Varteks, the vibe was just different—so relaxed and celebratory, like everyone knew the party was already starting. Honestly, that’s exactly what makes our fans the best.

Is cheering just happening without a frontman now😁? It’s great when the stadium is packed and every group of fans from down the street wants to lead a chant—honestly, I missed that energy. But when the stands are a bit thinner, I feel like it’s actually better to have someone out there leading the way.

You know there's actually an option on YouTube to rotate videos!

Just open up whichever video you want to flip, go into the enhancements settings, and you'll see the rotation tool. Save it and you're good to go.

John Perez13 said:Sound is its own entire philosophy when you're working with video. Anyone who’s ever taken classes at a local film club or attended a major film academy knows that. There are specific semesters dedicated entirely to visual techniques, and then there are others focused solely on audio. Even the software side is split—you use one set of tools for editing footage and an entirely different suite for mastering sound. Most consumer-grade cameras are pretty basic; they have very little headroom. If you hit them with more decibels than they were designed to handle, the audio just clips and dies. It’s a lot like cranking up the volume on your car speakers to the absolute max—eventually, you’re going to hear that distortion and realize you're about to blow the speakers out. That’s exactly why professional setups require dedicated amplifiers, limiters, and filters. For serious work, high-end microphones can easily run you several thousand dollars. Honestly, I just can't justify spending that kind of money on a camera. 😁

I honestly thought they were smart enough to realize that bare DSLR cameras aren't everything. But regardless, investing in a decent microphone for videos like these wouldn't be a bad move, and it shouldn't cost a fortune either. Maybe just a couple hundred bucks? You don't need some ultra high-end studio setup; you just need something that captures a bit more volume than the built-in mic if that's even the issue. I can tell when the audio levels are being boosted too much on the footage from the opposite stands—you can actually see the sound waves clipping, which causes that nasty distortion.

If all else fails, you can always use the noise reduction tool in Adobe Premiere to help smooth out that background crackling.
When you put that much effort into filming and production, don't you think it makes sense to iron out those tiny little details that get in the way? That's really all I'm saying.
Die-hard Ultras / Hardcore Supporters in Fans ·
Hey, John Perez13, what’s going on with your audio settings? Are the cameras just acting up, or are you intentionally cranking the volume so high that the audio keeps peaking?

Anyway, I can't even find the words to describe how much effort you're putting in.
