Looks like Ursula is finally catching on to the mess
Divan-gate: EU officials are losing it after being snubbed by von der Leyen during her meeting with Turkey leadership https://www.euractiv.com/section/glo...ey-chair-snub/
What exactly are you expecting from those bureaucrats over at the European Union? I mean, honestly, he was just stoked to even land a seat at the table.
David Torres2 said:Honestly, Erdogan should have just sent her to the kitchen to brew some coffee instead.😁 At the end of the day, this pretty much sums up the whole "powerful" European Union.
Command Center Update: We’ve got 1,649 new cases out of 9,466 tests, and 36 people passed away. The individual states are still sending over their numbers
The numbers are looking lower than I expected... honestly, if things don't pick up significantly by tomorrow, nothing from the C model is going to matter in NYC.

I mean, it’d be pretty messed up to deny the deceased their final send-off, I guess.😉

My folks ended up having this whole discussion over a nice, romantic spring drizzle, all thanks to that TikTok mess.
Look, we aren't all out there knocking back beers on some backyard patio, so I guess we don't really have a shot at becoming those top-tier "expert" epidemiologists who claim to know everything about how these things spread.
U.S. Department of Education drops latest school infection numbers: ‘People were actually asking for longer breaks’
So, the U.S. Department of Education just updated their app with the latest stats on how many students caught whatever is going around this past week. I guess California is still sitting at the top of the list for most infections, which isn't exactly a surprise... and right now, about half of the schools are stuck doing that 100% remote learning thing. During the Open Government session last night, Tomislav Paljak mentioned there were even requests to extend the holidays, but I suppose they’ll be sitting around analyzing everything over the next 11 days before making any real moves.
