That’s pretty much where my head is at too. If things have already taken hold, there wasn't much we could do since we weren't exactly trying back then. Once I spotted that discharge, I basically tossed him straight into bed.
The element of surprise is always the best part.
And now, just wait until this "flower" finally decides to show up so I can start tracking with 1dc... it's such a drag and she's still nowhere to be seen. I swear, I'm going to run through every possible combination before anything actually happens.
If my cycle was stuck at 26-28 days, it would fly by. Instead, I'm sitting here waiting through 28-30, and if it hits 32, I'm toast.
Honestly, I'm even more pissed off than I was at my ex when he used to roll in late from the bar in the middle of the night.
Dana Wilson said:I was actually chatting with a friend recently, and she told me that she practically has two ovulations every other month. Even her OB-GYN didn't believe her, but she confirmed it—if you can even call it that—because one of her pregnancies delivered exactly on the day she calculated based on that second ovulation. So yeah, it was news to me too, but apparently, it's a thing. 🙂

Took a test this morning, negative.
Still no sign of my period showing up, just some random cramping in my gut every now and then.
Nothing happening with my breasts either; they're slightly larger but don't have that usual ache.
Honestly, I can't tell if it's Friday the 13th or just my PMS kicking in, but I'm wired and cranky as hell. I feel like picking a fight with my husband over nothing and then bursting into tears right after.

It's probably just a negative result, but man, I just want this to be over so I can move on...😠

And regarding that whole double ovulation thing, my second one definitely happened on January 5th, around day 24. I had so much discharge I thought I was going to slip and fall.
So, it's been 8 days since that specific window.
Am I just being delusional and clinging to hope again?🙄
Hey ladies,
I wanted to jump in here with a quick question—or maybe just some random thoughts. I’ve been hesitating to post lately, almost like I’m afraid I’ll jinx myself if I speak up too soon.
Here’s my situation: I had surgery for fibroids, and we’ve been trying to conceive for about six months now, but nothing has happened yet.
We started running tests, and I "failed" the exam because my TSH levels were high. As a "penalty," my doctor put me on Euthyrox 25mg for two months, which is over now and everything seems to have stabilized.
Aside from that, I was back at it last month, obsessively checking ovulation with those digital tests.
The important part is this:
On day 9 of my cycle, the test showed a smiley face. Everything was fine, we were enjoying the holidays and having sex regularly.
Then, on day 24, I noticed some discharge—and I mean a *lot* of it. It was super stretchy, definitely noticeable. I took another digital test right after using the bathroom, and it showed a smiley face again.
QUESTION: Has anyone ever dealt with two ovulations in one cycle?
My cycle used to be a rock-solid 28 days, but since the surgery, it’s been dragging out to anywhere between 28 and 30 days.
Today is day 31.
Usually, I get huge, painful breasts for about ten days before my period hits. This time? Nothing. Just maybe a little bloating, almost like my body isn't expecting it.
I have a test ready, just like always... but it feels like the universe is playing games. Usually, my period shows up an hour or two after I take a test, like it’s programmed to hit me right when I check.$20 Honestly, I’m terrified of being disappointed. I just want to avoid seeing a negative result followed immediately by my period; I’d settle for just one of those outcomes.
I know you guys are experts at listing symptoms, but I’ve got nothing. Maybe I’m just sleeping earlier, that’s it. I’m drinking coffee, nothing smells weird, and my back hurts like it always does. Basically, even the usual breast tenderness is totally missing.

Man, just thinking back to how many times I got shredded by cats or nipped by dogs... but honestly, growing up as a kid out in rural Montana with my grandma, that was basically just a Tuesday for me. Between the scratches and constantly scraping my knees raw—usually before the old ones even had a chance to heal—it was just part of life.
Chill out, it’s really not that big of a deal 🙂.
