Try this... I found this on some forum somewhere..
* Click “Shut”, right-click “Computer” and select “Properties”, then click “Device Manager”
* Look for “IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controllers” and expand it.
* You should see one device: “VIA 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller”
* Right-click it, hit “Properties”, go to the “Power Management” tab, and check “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.
after that The computer should Power down normally.
* IF you can't find the VIA 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller in Device Manager (like I did), try this: Reboot and jump into the BIOS. The IEEE 1394 Controller is Enabled in There. Disable it, save the BIOS settings, and boot back into Windows 7. Now The via 1394 Controller shows up in The Device Manager !! Isn't that backwards? Weird.
