The only logical conclusion is that we're looking at some sensationalist hype job, much like those clickbait headlines you see all over CNN or Fox News.

No hard feelings here; me pushing back against your point doesn't mean I'm angry. 👍
I still maintain there is absolutely no way those fifty people are playing "just for fun." This isn't some casual giveaway where you're handing out a hundred free Bud Light cans.

I wasn't even referring to it as a scientific discipline... if you disagree, then elaborate instead of just throwing out an opinion without any actual argumentation to counter mine.
My intention was simply to point out that Justin Fowler5's reasoning is flawed. She was essentially arguing that increasing interest would somehow lead to someone undeserving winning the award—a level of illogic that even Forrest Gump wouldn't have dreamed up.

I'll be watching closely for the next one, though I struggled quite a bit this time, so I doubt I'll do much better next round.😍 But seriously, the ideas and the prizes are awesome. Don't feel bad about the turnout being small; it just means the person who actually earns the prize truly deserves it.😁
@Anthony Smith3 It’s hard to overlook the fact that Elsinore and Misery's Crown are sitting at the exact same point total 😕 . Not that it really matters—I was just curious... why are some users listed in black while others show up in gray on that leaderboard?
It’s certainly a step up from Machete, but let’s be realistic—we aren't looking at an actor of Jack Nicholson's caliber or prestige here, just some decent film.
I’ve been trying to wrap my head around why the people posting on this forum won't actually participate in the game... perhaps it's because the difficulty level is just too high? If that's the case, well, who can really blame them? 🙂
Or maybe the prizes just aren't enticing enough. 🤷 I have to admit, none of the rewards really made my heart race, even if the top prize is a solid movie.

I'm an American, so let's skip the pointless arguments. Nothing achieved on one's own. Just riding someone else's coattails. Shame on you. Someone actually put in the work to come up with all those questions, and then you just swoop in looking for the answers. If the winners shared among themselves, they could just split that prize money!
which is precisely why this whole situation is such a royal mess🙂
As if there's any actual fighting among winners—they'd just laugh all the way to the bank!
yeah, they'll be busy choking on their DVDs, hahahaahaha🙂
can't you see that nobody even bothered to answer a poor American?
And he still goes by the name "American"... isn't it telling when someone clinging to those supposed values resorts to fraud just to line their pockets? And right now, of all times, just as all these scandals are starting to break across the country?
I suspect a certain investigative journalist from the New York Times would have plenty to say about this one. 🙂
It would be far more efficient for me to address all these inquiries via a single private message this Thursday, so that is precisely what I intend to do.
Why on earth would she be so offended by someone just being a dick?
As for the movie, it was pretty mediocre... I watched it ages ago, so I can't quite pin down the specific flaws, but I vividly remember feeling absolutely nothing while watching it.
