I was thinking today about how much the archetype of the superstar has shifted. It feels like we used to have these specific, legendary icons who just had an unteachable, raw instinct that you can't coach into someone today. Do you think modern training has actually killed off that kind of natural "killer instinct"?

Funny enough, I watched the American remake first and then went back to the original... That’s really the best way to see just how much of a mess American remakes can be. 😁

At first, it feels a bit like Stranger Things, but it's much more serious, which I personally prefer. I just finished the first season; once I wrap up the second, I'll post a full review. 🙂
I've seen the first season... it was excellent in my opinion... A bit complex to follow, though. 😁 The second season is on my list as well. 🙂
Between work and everything else going on... I can barely find the time to watch anything. 😢 There’s such a massive backlog waiting for me—shows like Ozark and Westworld... I still need to finish Homeland, too. And then there's Stranger Things... man, I am seriously behind on that one. 😁
Man, what a great movie. You hit the nail on the head—it definitely gives off those Gomorra vibes. Though, if I'm being honest, Gomorra had a better soundtrack.
I can't get that woman from the hotel room out of my head. 🙂
hahahaha... I knew that scene would stick with you.😁
