88 seems like an interesting number ☕🤣

🤷 I suppose it's just more of the same. It feels like we've seen this movie before.😕

I guess they relocated to the racetrack, if I'm not mistaken.

I suppose I can only hope the crowd here in Los Angeles gives Kovacic a warm welcome. 🤣🤣

I suppose I enjoy having a presence in the media—both TV and online—but I guess I’d never actually want to be some sort of icon. Maybe because there are plenty of people who have earned that recognition much more than I ever could.

In short, while I enjoy the intensity of game day, I always show up as just another face in the crowd, and I think I'll keep it that way. 😁

As for the slogans, they aren't bad, though I suspect we could do better.

Just kidding, but if you're interested, we could always throw in a cheap imitation instead.😂😂

We should probably just make a doormat featuring everyone's footprints and Jesse Campbell's silhouette; it might be the most definitive statement this forum has ever made, in a sense, if we're looking for common ground. 🙏🙏
The state is footing the bill with a ridiculous $90,000... so I guess that doesn't really change much, and those figures you mentioned were probably off anyway. A festival with just one stage is pretty much useless—that's just a fact. Having such a limited range of genres probably limits how much Coachella could ever grow, whether they moved to a different state or stayed put. And these articles are bordering on insanity. Personally, I was extremely satisfied with the Coachella I attended once, but the finances wouldn't allow me to go more often. That festival offers a diverse lineup with high-quality acts; I suspect Deluxe is actually doing more to follow in the footsteps of Coachella than Coachella itself is.

I suppose you can't really expect a lineup like Lollapalooza or South by Southwest given the average American purchasing power.

Part one: the keyword was "played"... the festival hasn't been much good these last two years.

Part two: then explain how Coachella works with Mexican purchasing power. 🙄

I think you misunderstood me. The original forum was a total riot (I can't recall the exact URL), whereas this other part refers to the forum that was created afterward and whose address is still being used today; they just switched to a different forum software.

The old BBB forum was probably at its peak 😂😂

There were decent stretches afterward too. Even when there were mostly kids around, at least Iveko and Argentino made an effort to actually educate people 😉 (I'm not entirely sure what the current vibe is, so I won't claim things haven't improved since then)

Probably the best post I've seen in the last five pages.

Jonathan Lewis3 said:I suspect that banner is just some old Tornado relic; some kid carried it around for years,
even posted a video on Facebook once showing the Ultras waving it while he claimed nothing hurt him more than watching that clip.
Just plain foolishness...

If my memory serves me right, those Tornado banners were being burned at that game regardless of the birthday stuff; maybe that’s why it happened. 🤷
It’s honestly a bit of a disgrace how much they've been ignoring the electronic scene in the last couple of years.☕🙂

rustycyclist55 said:It was a complete disaster... knee-deep mud, a landfill right next to the stadium, and you couldn't even find a beer inside the venue. If you tried grabbing one at a bar after the game, the cops would have probably cracked skulls. On top of that, they kept us stuck in some field for two and a half hours under a sign that basically called us nothing but thugs... just pure repression.

Probably some riot squad from Chicago, I suppose.☕
