My old one finally kicked the bucket, and I'm out of warranty. Since I'm running an Intel Core i7, my current budget is $400 so I can't really justify a massive upgrade right now, even though I need something urgently.

Plus, most of the crowd just screams through every song instead of finding the rhythm. I suppose they lack routine since they only show up once a month, if that. You could tell by looking at last year's intermission performance—they cheered better there than at almost any home game, excluding maybe the big matchups against Benfica or Fenerbahçe.
Let’s be realistic for a second about why the North stands alone at the bottom. It’s true that they aren't showing up online, which plays a part, but realistically, "our" side has 3,000 diehards. That leaves about 2,500 people down in the North who basically have no other option, yet they still end up bleating like sheep, just like they have during all the major games lately. This isn't the era from over 10 years ago where maybe 500 people would be huddled on the edges of the stands in silence watching the game.
Both sides of this argument have valid points, though I suppose both parties are far too stubborn and prideful to actually admit it.
That’s probably why we see these specific trends—like how half the stadium might be backing the home team in Chicago, while everyone else just does their own thing, ignoring the megaphones and drums, filming from the upper decks instead of being in the thick of it...
Does anyone happen to have a video of the "just give us the win" chant from the end of the match? It was easily one of the most intense moments in the stands over the last decade.
Exactly. I feel like Chicago has turned into such a small town over the last decade or so.
Regarding the match itself, it was decent enough, but honestly, it just feels wrong that most of the crowd—especially those sitting above the mid-tier seats—stayed silent during a game like this. If you look back at our old matches against teams like Werder, Spartak, or Basel, that never used to happen.
I honestly don't get this collective amnesia or this sudden need for forgiveness. If your only grievance was Jerry Maguire, then you clearly don't give a damn about the actual state of the club. You probably just celebrated every mediocre trophy we ever lifted...
Maybe try showing up to every single game instead of cherry-picking. It’s easy to lecture others when things go south against teams like San Francisco or Indianapolis, acting like you have some profound insight, when really you're just reacting to everything that's gone wrong over the last decade.
