Fortunately, I don't feel any burning need to lurk in this thread or contribute much to it—even though I see some of these people out and about in my own city, so I can't say I'm fully aware of all the specific debates happening here. However, I did take a look at Dorijan’s guide when he was locking the thread regarding the moderation of this discussion. If the core issue here is supposedly "hate speech," and if this specific post is the reason she received a ban, then frankly, I think there's been a massive misunderstanding—it seems someone has confused actual hate speech with simply reporting on its existence within a certain community. I'm weighing in to support the enrollment because I know Napornin personally, and believe me, she understands exactly what hate speech is and just how dangerous it can be.
Bev, thanks for kicking this thread off—I was actually just sitting here thinking about starting something similar myself. I’ve really missed having a dedicated space like this on the off-topic boards. I know a few other regulars who are going to love this idea; Maggie has already shown up.
I’m honestly terrified you’re going to fall head over heels—and let’s be real, when you fall, you fall hard. You know I was totally rooting for you and Hannah last time I was thinking about that final scene on the rooftop, right when Victor... And then there’s Sergei just standing outside the AMC theater while he waits...
There you have it. She’ll show up once she’s back—she’s his protector, after all—so you two can just hash it out together. It’s just how I’m wired—you know, "vampire" is pretty much the only word from my heritage that actually made it into the global lexicon. I guess I just have this subconscious habit of joking around about vampires...☕
So, I have this one Twitter account I use strictly for keeping up with news and info, but when I set up a second one for other stuff, I immediately got followed by this random guy using a vampire profile picture.🤣> My son didn't stop teasing me about it for three whole days.
So look, why don't you just head over there to get some peace and quiet—while the rest of us are out hitting the movie theater—just hand over the cash and call it even.
