Dana Murphy4 said:Denzel Washington was born on December 28, 1954, in Mount Vernon, New York. His father, Dillwyn Denzel Washington, worked as a minister and was constantly busy from morning until night, while his mother, Lennis, ran her own hair salon; because of their schedules, the three children—the eldest daughter Lorica, Denzel, and his younger brother David—probably only saw them for an hour or two a day when they finally returned home late at night.
Throughout a long and storied career in film, he has pretty much accomplished everything one could hope for. This includes winning an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in the 1989 film "Glory," various other accolades, and even some lighter recognition, such as being named one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world by People magazine.
Alongside a marriage that seems to have brought him a great deal of happiness, Denzel Washington has continued to shine professionally; in the 1989 film "Glory" directed by Edward Zwick, he played Sergeant Trip, a performance that I guess both audiences and critics found deeply moving, earning him an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in a role many thought might be out of reach for Black actors at the time.
Even though audiences were used to seeing him strictly as a good guy, usually playing heroic or righteous characters, many people feel that his most significant role was actually playing a corrupt cop in "Training Day" (2001), a turn that the Academy recognized immediately by awarding him the Oscar for Best Actor that same year.
Most famous movies: - The Book of Ella (2010) - Man on Fire (2004) - Deja Vu (2006) - American Gangster (2007) - The Hurricane (1999) - Training Day (2001) - Inside Man (2006) - Unstoppable (2010)

There’s definitely a major one missing from this list
Pelican case (1992)
And that one—you know, where he gets mixed up in some money scheme and borrows funds from the company, then they come looking for him... I can't recall the title, but it's an excellent film.
rapidtinker45 said:Yeah, that’s what he said—what's the issue? He isn't Hamilton, after all—not exactly known for dropping nonsense in public. I mean, sure, maybe he didn't exactly offer that mechanic much comfort like Luca di Montezemolo suggested—he was probably just in the garage losing his mind and shouting—but still... The press conference—if you can even call it that—was a disaster. Just a complete waste of everyone's time. He absolutely shut me down and repeated exactly what I wrote—so, please, spare me the nonsense going forward. If you’re skeptical, just head over to ESPN.com and read the actual press conference transcripts yourself.
Pressure? Please.🤣 What—are they interviewing the guys who just drive in circles now too? 🤣🤣🤣 Doesn't matter—keep defending him if you must... there are still three races left to see how this actually plays out. ☕

😂
If that’s really what he said... let’s just take his word for it. 😂 When you lose out on a championship and $10,000,000—or more—you aren't exactly "calm."
Go ahead and comfort yourself with that excuse if you must!! But the real question is how the standings would have actually shaken out. Just remember—Lewis finished 2nd behind Felipe Massa, which was an 8-point gap—so he still would've taken the title... plus, you’re overlooking the fact that Massa lost his lead... he isn't exactly a world-class driver. This is his one shot at being champion, and once he leaves Ferrari: it's over—just like Barrichello!
rapidtinker45 said:That’s not even really where the issue lies. I think you’ve got it a little backwards—it's not about needing to overhaul everything from the ground up. It’s more like we just need to tweak those specific little details, like that traffic light situation... you know, in another team on the grid, you wouldn't need a total rebuild, just the right adjustments to finally snag that first-place trophy. But man, the way it was phrased was just a total disaster.
And honestly, maybe we should just be thankful these kinds of things actually happen to Ferrari. If they didn't, we'd probably just be stuck reliving the absolute dominance of the 2002 season over and over again.
🤣🤣🤣Well... yeah.🤣🤣 Even if Honda had a better engine—which they don't—they still wouldn't be sitting on pole position.
Why the ban?? The guy was just telling the truth!! If you all want to be such die-hard Ferrari fans, then at least have the decency to be self-critical—admit that something needs to change from the ground up within your "dream team"!!☕
I’ve been using an American Express Green card for eight years now—all my payments go through via automatic transfer from my JP Morgan Chase account. Every credit limit increase or cash advance I've ever requested was approved on the first try... honestly, I'm quite satisfied.👍
Ron Dennis ought to boycott Formula 1—it's blindingly obvious that Bernie Ecclestone and the FIA are rigging things to hand Mass a title (presumably some sort of cheap substitute for Ayrton Senna🙄)
In other words—you aren't allowed to have a life of your own, and you have to be universally loathed by the members just to maintain control... plus, you’re expected to work overtime for free! 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎:f lop:👎
PS: What is even the point of being a moderator—why line someone's pockets when they aren't actually doing anything?🤷
Let’s cut to the chase— 1 - you basically have to lack any semblance of a private life. 2 - you need to kiss up to the current mods and admins at all times. 3 - be prepared to sell out your own family just to stay on this site. 4 - act like an arrogant jerk who thinks they're untouchable. 5 - pretend to love the "charity work" they do—as if they aren't doing it for free.
It isn't all about the visual effects—seriously. You need to watch all three films on a real home theater setup (not those cheap $50 plastic junk sets from Best Buy)!!! It’s a completely different experience. The first film has the "worst" effects—mostly analog stuff—but man, that sound design is top-tier. Class A1🙏 When the Tyrannosaurus Rex or those Raptors are stomping around, the whole room shakes! 🙏 The entire trilogy features world-class sound engineering!
He isn't—in his own mind, he’s justified... and until he sees otherwise, he won't stop... It's like obsessing over a toothache until you actually start feeling the pain and decide to pull it—even if that's not how reality works. How long does it take for people to grasp the truth of a situation? Maybe better education from childhood would help... though you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
