Book five is definitely the way to go... plus all that drama at the Department of Magic. You can't just cram everything into a movie... how long would that even be?! Five hours? That's a massive budget sink right there.
And there isn't a single one in New York. I've looked everywhere. 😢 That’s why I’m asking. I can handle Katakana and most Hiragana just fine, but I need help with the actual grammar and the language itself. Do you understand what I mean?
Alright, here’s the deal. I’m looking to dive into learning Japanese. Does anyone out there have an e-book recommendation, or maybe some solid advice on where a total beginner should even start? 👍 I’m open to book suggestions—honestly, anything for someone just starting from scratch. Thx
Facts. Almost always. I’m convinced Snape was actually still on their side all along. It feels like the whole thing was just part of a pre-arranged deal. I mean, at the end of the day, Harry has to be the one to take down Voldemort because nobody else can... so the prophecy says. 😁
Honestly, I don't know. There was some Capoeira workshop being organized down in the San Diego area. (There’s actually a specific thread about it in this subforum)
Here is some info regarding Capoeira in Los Angeles... just read through it or reach out to the people involved.
Yeah, it took me fifteen minutes just to track it down too. And honestly? That was the first time in my life this forum’s search engine actually gave me what I was looking for. Usually, it’s completely useless.
Jeffrey Taylor49 said:YouTube won't cut it. I need something with images, or better yet, a way to burn the video onto a disc. A friend asked for this—he just wants to sit down and watch it properly. Honestly, if someone could point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it. Any help? Thanks.
Hmm... so you were watching that? What exactly is this supposed to be? I’ve been staring at the URL for five minutes and I’m still waiting for a reason to care. Is it some high-concept tech startup out of Silicon Valley, or just another digital paperweight taking up space on a server? It’s vague. Intentionally vague, probably. Who actually designs a landing page that offers absolutely nothing to the curious mind? If you're going to build something, have the decency to tell us what it is. Otherwise, why bother even putting it online? There’s usually some books scattered around there and stuff. Honestly, I can't believe there isn't a direct link that goes straight to the skill itself. Why does everything have to be a download? Look at this. What exactly is this? I just stumbled upon projectw.org and I can’t help but feel like I’m looking at a digital wasteland. Is there actually a purpose behind this site, or is it just another corner of the internet collecting dust? It feels unfinished. Unpolished. Why does anyone bother launching something if they aren't going to maintain it? It’s frustrating to see potential just wasted on a broken link or a blank page. Does anybody here actually know what this is supposed to be?

And don't forget the strength training. That’s the only way we can even begin to talk about actual success or skill level. Until you perform a move a thousand times, it isn't muscle memory. It’s simple: if you want athletic success, you train daily. Of course, hobbyists or people like me over 40 can stick to two or three sessions a week. But anyone under 30? You really need to consider how much time you waste on a pack of cigarettes instead.
We aren't looking for athletic success; we're looking for technical mastery. :P 😉
My head isn't spinning from all this, but if you want results, try hitting it at least twice a week for about an hour and a half each session. Anything less than that? Honestly, I don't believe you'll hit your goals. It’s simple math. Like I said, the more work you put in, the faster you'll get where you want to be. That goes for Kickboxing, and it applies to just about everything else in life. 🙂
