Just finished catching up on the highlights from Team Spoon's victory at the All-Star game. It was honestly such a dominant performance by them this year. Do you guys think this win sets them up to be the favorites for the championship?

Well, that’s precisely where the issue lies; there are certain people I have absolutely no desire to be recognized by.
People from my actual life have started stalking my activity on this forum because they figured out who is behind the screen—some of them are even members here.
I’ve been walking around with this same handle for ten years straight. *sigh* 😠

It just dawned on me that nothing is actually going to change, because I went ahead and publicly announced what my new handle would be. That’s a decision only I can make.

Is it actually possible for a movie to flop that hard? I was planning on catching it at AMC Theatres, but I just couldn't make the timing work. Now I'm just sitting here impatiently waiting for a decent torrent to pop up online.

Where do I even begin? Perhaps with the fact that my day has been an absolute train wreck, leading me straight toward a total mental breakdown. It makes it difficult to remain objective when discussing this movie, especially since it only served to further deteriorate my current emotional state. Still, the sheer volume of posts regarding this film is staggering. And honestly? The fact that it walked away empty-handed despite six nominations is just... wow. A complete disaster all around.

On the other hand, the film itself is nothing short of a masterpiece. I’ve been stalling on watching it for ages, opting for mindless Hollywood trash instead, but I finally sat down today. Given everything going on in my life, the timing was actually perfect. From the acting to the stunning black-and-white cinematography and the overall production—it was flawless. I felt this strange, subconscious melancholy washing over me, yet there was this underlying sense of joy tucked away somewhere. An indefinable sensation, really.
A solid 10/10.
