They don't give a damn.
They treat this entire site like some tiny, shady local message board I set up on my home PC for five friends to hang out on. ☕

So, we just have to sit tight and wait. 🙂

They could have at least posted a notification somewhere. ☕🤷

Total chaos.

I'm seeing the exact same thing.
The moderation is acting weird... and then there's this...
Now I'm trying to browse... just want to check something quickly... and even that isn't working. 🤷

I thought it was just my connection acting up. 😁
Honestly, these erratic forum glitches are making me paranoid. 😁

The negative selection on this Reddit has become absolutely disastrous. If it turns out to be true that they're paying people like the Music mods, or those Smoogj types and ruggedjackal46... if they're actually making stupid decisions here at the expense of everyone else, I'm definitely out. I'm done with this Reddit.

As for these mods... they might actually be okay.
There are tons of subreddits that are seriously over-moderated... like psychology, career advice, some IT PDF sections, stuff like that... ☕
Btw... I don't even visit the music sub anymore because there's always been this heavy, infantile chaos there, and I honestly outgrew that style a long time ago.

I'm also thinking about quitting this Reddit... the same thing happened again that's happened several times before. A good thread starts, I'm typing like a maniac, putting in the effort, then some heavy flammer or troll flies in who has absolutely nothing to say, and after that, the topic just vanishes...... 😕😕👎
That's just one example of their bizarre behavior.

The idea that these people get paid, and then after all that, there's mostly no explanation for the bizarre actions they repeatedly take, is a bit much.
Not to mention the cliché moderation where you wait two days for a reaction, which—to put it mildly—is usually not particularly smart.

I just hope someone relevant actually shows up to this thread and explains things. 🙄
Though I know the chances are slim, and it'll probably take at least a week if we're lucky. And that's assuming some newly registered flammer or troll doesn't come in and screw us all over, causing me to get banned in the process.🙄👎
Etc....

driftingeagle27 said:But honestly they're all way too busy trolling themselves to notice anything, they can't even tell the wheat from the chaff at this point.

So how does that work?
I saw one of the mods hint that they've started getting some small amount of cash. If that wasn't just a joke or some "cool" prank... 🤷
There's no way the mods are getting paid just to mess around and show up to intervene intelligently maybe three times a year... ? 🤷

So many questions and doubts, yet so few answers.... hehe ☕

Thank God for the internet; there are plenty of places left for actual, sane conversation!

Though I believe a Reddit owner should at least want to minimize users fleeing the platform. ☕🤷

I bet they're running some service, upgrade, or optimization and just knocked it out temporarily. 😁

Here’s the deal. 😁
People say this Reddit is "evolving"...
But honestly... certain bizarre users just flame, off-topic, and troll harder than ever. They even spawn clone accounts to fuel the fire.
The site claims it wants to be more serious—it's getting more traffic, I see the ads... it's becoming commercialized.
Yet, there are zero mods.
After a flame war or some trolling starts, it takes the mods an entire day or longer to even react.
If this platform is actually progressing, you might not expect a response to sabotage within five minutes, but if it wants to pretend it's improving, you'd expect action within a few hours at least.
But nothing happens. It's still the same nonsense, the same childish behavior.

Then some abuser jumps in, flames everything in sight, trolls everyone, and suddenly the entire thread vanishes—which is exactly what the saboteur wanted to happen!?! 😕🤷
It's impossible to follow or participate seriously on such a chaotic forum. 😢 😁

What's the solution?

Thanks.
😍
Ethan Allen2 said:Looking at what’s going on in Canada, America, and Mexico—where you can really feel this growing resentment toward whoever is in power lately—it makes me wonder if regular people bear any responsibility for how things turn out. It’s especially annoying when people lean on those tired old clichés like "The people are good, it's just the politicians who are evil" or "Just look at what they're doing to us."

How can politicians be corrupt if the people are supposedly virtuous? Where do these politicians actually come from? Did they just drop out of the sky? Or are they a direct product of the same society? Even if they aren't, who actually voted for them? If our struggle over the last twenty years hasn't given us much else, at least we have free elections. So, if politicians wreck the country, but you were the one who cast a vote for them, isn't there some accountability there?

Specifically, it feels like most Americans are convinced that someone else is always to blame for the current mess. Politicians, foreign agents, the media, whatever. Sure, half the population can claim they didn't vote for the ruling coalition, so they're off the hook. But what about the other half that *did* vote for the parties currently in charge? Is there no moral responsibility? Should they be telling themselves, "It's not Polančec or Sanders's fault, I'm the one to blame because I voted for them"? Or is it more like, "Oops, I didn't realize they'd do this"?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not just targeting the Republican Party. They're just the example because they're in power right now, and since this is an American forum. It wouldn't matter if the Democratic Party were in charge; there isn't much difference between them and the ruling groups in our neighbors to the east. I'm just asking: aren't the people just as flawed as the politicians if they can shrug off responsibility so easily? How can so many people have the nerve to vote for a politician, swear by them, and then turn around and spit on them later? Is it all just some ritual to clear their own conscience?

And what if a region is economically dead—or dead in every other sense—and it's basically predestined for the people to back whichever parties or groups offer them unfair advantages? (Even though it ultimately destroys society as a whole.)
If you have people who can only get anything done through partisan maneuvering, and almost all other opportunities have vanished, the equation solves itself. The people are corrupt because that is their only way to survive, or because they have nothing left to do but scramble through dirty political circles (like the South of Italy). 🤷☕ (

It's an incredibly nasty vicious cycle.;
(General rule) Morality increases as a society becomes more organized and advanced, and a society advances only as its people become more moral, capable, and rational. 😁

They "hurt" because they’re completely mindless. You’re suffocating this forum by deleting everything in sight..

Up until now, the mods' calls have always been pretty much deserved.

The moderation in the psychology section is incredibly poor and unprofessional.

Action needs to be taken here. Being a moderator isn't just a title anyone can claim. This incompetence is dragging down the quality of the entire platform. 🙂

Thanks, and I'm expecting some actual responses to this. 🙂

Best regards, 🙂

To clarify: minor off-topic remarks shouldn't be treated as trolling and used as an excuse to shut down discussions or hand out bans. A little bit of off-topic context is often necessary to clarify the subject, especially when the original prompt is based on flawed premises.
steelhound48 said:It seems like they only targeted you. They were checking everyone else's bracelets pretty aggressively.

I see they’re listening to the Sick Brothers with an emphasis on hunting stories. 🙄

I know I sound like an idiot. I didn't believe this crew was such a clumsy, burnt-out mess either, but I love them. 😍 $117 is still $117 😳
Just a quick heads-up on how that went down....
Yeah. I walked right into the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival without paying a cent because nobody at the gate even bothered to check for a ticket. No wristband scan, nothing. I fully intended to pay if anyone actually asked, but they didn't.
Saved a decent chunk of change.
I dig these kinds of free festivals—totally chill.. 😍
Donna Anderson52 said:P.S.: Also, I have no idea why the area in front of the stage smelled so much like urine. 😕

The smell of urine was even stronger near the stages, mixed with some kind of decay where the mud was.
It rained for a few days, then you had all the human trash—food scraps, spilled beer, whatever—all getting trampled. Add some intense sun and heat to that mix, let it sit and fester for a few days, and you've got a recipe for disaster.
And oh boy! By the last day, you're basically pulling a tray out of an oven. You get this massive stench from the semi-solidified sludge of bacteria and micro-organisms. 👍
Baked filth. Bon appétit!
Jose White23 said:. Horace Andy is an absolute legend

When he performed Girl and I love you, it blew my mind. His delivery was flawless.

I was actually disappointed they didn't play Hymn of The Big wheel. That track is a masterpiece, and that's where Horace really goes wild... 🙏
Adam Moore said:here's my report.

heh, Mr. Wrong, regarding Martina, when she played there were only 20 people. Everyone was obsessed with Martina. 😁

Anyway, she seems like a nice girl. 😁 An art girl through and through.
Is it just Tricky's influence, or what?? 😳
Jose White23 said:And another absurdity. Massive Attack is just throwing corporate logos behind them.

So what? It's a great advertisement. 😳
urbannomad30 said:Just move forward and things will be fine. 👍

Well, I moved forward.
Some idiots were around with their terrible "jokes." Absolute morons.
Some high-strung PTSD "rocker" who wouldn't stop swearing because the band was running late.
Some weird women are just high-strung.
Just a bunch of guys fighting amongst themselves.
People sitting around, trying to explain to one another who these Massive Attack guys actually are. 🤷

The crowd was absolutely lifeless. 😁
Massivan brought the energy, and once they did, the crowd just lost it—hands up, pure chaos. The sound was solid, but honestly, it was way too aggressive during those song climaxes. Over the top. Mostly great, though. 😁
urbannomad30 said:Then what actually happened?

The crowd was mediocre at best.😳

Splitting the atom is great, but live? It’s weird.😁

Everything else for the fifth gods was more or less... ☕ 😁

I listened to Gustafe from a distance with one ear out, and they didn't even play the hits.🤷 WTF?
Martin Topley-Bell was humming nicely around 6, and then they played Karmacoma.😁

Didn't watch The Flaming Lips at all.
I see comments about them. Dragaš is obsessed... "best concert ever" and all that. I heard that Flaming Lips guy... he was talking total nonsense. Whatever.🤷 I don't really listen to them. Ignore.😁

There’s an anecdote about getting into the festival itself, but that’s a story for another time.😍
Jason Nguyen6 said:Kate James39, I'll buy the ticket if it's still available. Check your DMs for my cell number. Peace.

Damn it, Kate James39, I'll give you 250. 😁 I'll even go up to 300 😳

So you can tell Jason Nguyen6 to get lost. 😁

Check your PM. ☕

Btw... I hate tickets and festivals. 🤣
